Beautiful location. Period charm within easy reach of Braemar facilities.

Pros: Beautiful period accommodation. Very spacious. Amazing grounds for walking. Friendly and helpful staff.

A magical experience. I can't wait to return.

Pros: The property is exceptional, both as a building - the sweeping drive leading to the grand house is spectacular - and as an individual apartment. There is so much space, the furniture is beautiful, the proportions of each room are grand, the kitchen is so well equipped, the bathrooms are practical but beautiful.

Cons: The bath water is too cool for a proper bath. The water in individual taps is hot, so there is no shortage of hot water, but it isn't available for the bath. The wifi is temperamental/poor, so downloading a daily newspaper is impossible, and even watching tv was unsatisfactory.
