Snowy February Stay

Pros: The house was warm, comfortable, stylish and had everything we could need. The heating was very effective, which was great as we were there in very cold weather and the kitchen had all that we needed to prepare our own meals. The bedroom was charming, spacious and very comfortable and the shower offered plenty of hot water. After days hiking in the mountains, this was the perfect place to return go. We loved it and will definitely book again if possible.

Ideal location for exploring the Highlands

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at this lovely house in Newtonmore. It was the perfect getaway for a couple, and we especially appreciated that it was dog friendly—our pup felt just as welcome as we did! The house was very comfortable, and had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything we needed was provided, and the thoughtful touches throughout made it feel like a true home away from home. Ideal base for exploring the Highlands, and we’d absolutely stay again. Highly recommended!

Perfect cozy getaway

Pros: Cozy, clean, close to the Cairngorms. It has everything you need for cooking. Free parking, electric car charging station (you do have to share it with Baltinna West, but we always managed to charge our car). Beautifully decorated. Dog friendly. Tv has Netflix, YouTube… etc. WiFi is fast. Wood burner is great. We had a fantastic time, would definitely stay again.

Cons: Bed on the small side.

Perfect - no need to look further when staying in Newtonmore

Pros: It's such a nice place to stay at. Roomy, light, and all amenities are top-notch. Full marks for everything. The water pressure in the shower is particularly impressive. I would consider booking for that alone :)

Great location and warm comfortable place to come home to after a day out.

Pros: The location was great and it was warm and very comfortable. Loved the layout with the mezzanine allowing light into the living area.

Pros: We felt very comfortable. The cottage was very lovingly furnished, our dog was allowed to come along. The property has a fence, so our dog could run around the house freely. Rod and Dianne were always available for us, we contacted them when we had questions about the area, excursions or sights. We got great tips for trips. Newtonmore is centrally located. Excursions are easily possible from there. If we go to Scotland again we would rent a cottage from Rod and Dianne again.
