Just perfect

Pros: The property was presented in a beautiful setting with tasteful decor and a warm and welcoming vibe upon entering. We were gifted some home made brownies and a bottle of wine. Even a pint of milk in the fridge. There is a log burner that had plenty of wood for your stay. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Roe dear frequented our garden on several occasions which we really enjoyed. The local ducks always came to say hi at around 0900 every morning. You are remote enough to have a piece full stay but close enough for all the amenities. The mane shop in the village was a co-op which stocks most things you’ll need for your stay. We would love to visit this place again.

Fabulous stay

Pros: Cosy clean and comfortable, loved the log burner and great facilities. Excellent walking in the mountains nearby. Nice bottle of wine and delicious brownies on arrival is a great touch.

Nice and quiet

Pros: Very cosy, complete, location is very good for nature lovers, quiet, walking distance from shop and restaurants

Cons: Only a really small thing. A more comfy sofa would be great. After a nice day walking a comfy sofa would be welcome. The current one is really low and uncomfortable.

Great place, great location

Pros: Fantastic location, squirrels and birds (coal tits, tree creepers, crested tits) in the garden, cabin is well equipped, cozy and has a great shower

Pros: We had a brilliant week at Squirrel View. The cottage had everything we needed, along with plenty of wood for the fire, a great space for storing our bikes and a thoughtful welcome pack. There are lovely walks straight from the cottage and a co op and friendly pub are close by. Thanks for a great holiday, we were sad to leave!

Een sfeervolle cottage om verliefd op te worden!

Pros: Een zeer sfeervol ingerichte cottage staat op een mooie, rustige plek en vormt een uitstekende basis om Cairngorms National Park te verkennen. Verschillende zitjes in de grote tuin. Veel ruimte voor de auto. Comfortabele zithoek, veel boeken, goede tv, prima eethoek. Heerlijke douche. De eigenaren zorgen goed voor hun cottage en hebben veel aandacht besteed aan alle mogelijke details. Een cottage om verliefd op te worden.

Cons: Het bed is qua grootte een 'gewoon' tweepersoons bed, net zoals is aangegeven in de omschrijving, maar had voor ons iets groter gemogen. Verder een prima bed overigens. En.... geen squirrel gezien ;-)
