Would highly recommend this property if you want a comfortable tranquil break in beautiful surroundings with attentive h

Pros: Property was extremely spacious and comfortable. It is located at the end of a long ( 3/4 mile ) private road and is in a very beautiful and tranquil location and despite it being next door to the owners house it felt very private. We were a party of 3 so could eat in the kitchen but when we entertained relatives living nearby the dining room and lounge easily accommodated 8. Close to village of Alford ( 2 miles ) which had a supermarket , bakers , butchers etc. Very dog friendly .

Cons: Really nothing but particular to our group because we had extended family for meals a few more soup plates , dinner plates would have been good . Also a bread knife .

fantastic chilled out long weekend in Alford .

Pros: Location was perfect for us . The house had loads of room so we didn't feel that we were on top of each other . The house was equipped with everything we'd need and most important ,to us, its super dog friendly ! loved meeting the host and was hoping the baby calf would appear during our visit ... but not to be !

Cons: perfect just the way it is .

Amazing stay with helpful hosts.

Pros: Beautiful location, the house and gardens. Easy parking and access to surrounding countryside. House had all you need for a comfortable stay. Bed was very comfortable indeed!

Cons: Worth phoning ahead as signposting to the coach house is not clear. Shower pressure changeable.

Family stay in alford

Pros: The space was great, the sofas very comfortable and the gardens and surroundings were breathtaking the owners lived next door and were lovely and was fab to play with the very happy and friendly dogs

Cons: The kitchen could use some small sharp knives/ scissors very well equipped otherwise, and a few little things would be a welcome addition ( milk for when you arrive for a cuppa for example even if this is a chargeable extra) also whilst the accommodation was clean the products use leave a sticky feel which is not great at the dining table but these really are me being picky overall it was a great place to stay and we would happily stay again

Beautiful holiday home.

Pros: A beautiful house \u0026 setting . So peaceful with lovely walks from the property. A warm welcome from the owners. Will definately return for another holiday.
