Comfortable,great base for exploring other parts of the highlands which we did.

Pros: Self catering.everything you would need to make breakfast in cottage but also cafe within a few minutes walk if preferred.

Cons: Cotttage had everything needed for a very comfortable stay,there really wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.

Pros: Spotlessly clean, fresh and bright. Fabulous location. Everything we needed for our week in The Black Isle.

Cons: Listed as dog friendly, on arrival we were asked politely not to let our dog upstairs. Would have been useful to know in advance and maybe a stair gate could be provided to prevent dogs running upstairs.

Would definitely recommend this property.

Pros: The cottage was delightful - it was very clean, well equipped , modern kitchen, comfortable beds and in an excellent location. Parking practically outside the front door. Although Avoch is small, there are lovely take-away restaurants and a cafe within less than five mins walking distance. The owners are really lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Everything you need on a holiday.

Cons: Just an age thing and no criticism of the property but we found the stairs rather steep for us oldies with the only toilet being upstairs.

Pros: es war sehr schön,leider sind unsere Aktivitäten leider eher an der Westküste gelegen. Also lange fahren 😟. Egal, es war super. Nur die Fahrt zurück nach Dunbar war ein Fiasko 😖.A9 gesperrt. 8,5std für 500km. Aber die Erinnerung an diesen kleine Ort Avoch (Och)stays for ever!!!

Cons: nichts
