Brylach Steading

Perfect new year break, with added festive weather!

Pros: We stayed in the Bothy, which is a beautifully decorated cottage for 2. We had the warmest of welcomes from Lou and Jan, having had a bit of a stressful journey with the snowy weather. As soon as we entered the front door, we fell in love with this property. The log burner was freshly stacked and the lounge cosy and comfortable. The Christmas tree and other stylish festive touches were stunning. The Bothy is perfectly proportioned, with a fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous bathroom and a lovely bedroom with views across the Glen. The snow on the trees and hills made it look like something out of Narnia!

Cons: Loved everything.

Pros: Cosy accommodation \u0026 friendly hosts. Good location with lots of places to visit \u0026 good walks nearby.

Fairy tale at Scotland

Pros: Stunning lication and veiw, great and comfortable roons and property. The hostess is amazing, we are thankfull her for small Christmas gifts and decoration that made our Christmas holiday cosy and warm. We fiil there are as at home really.

Cons: Snow was absent ;-)

A wonderful property to stay in, surrounded by magnificent Scottish countryside.

Pros: The location of the property is stunning and property was part of some beautifully converted stables. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful and made it clear that they were available if needed. Everything was in place with excellent facilities and we only wish we were staying for longer!

Cons: This is one of those occasions where nothing could have been improved.

Pros: Beauriful location and view. Very welcoming owners! Our dog felt welcomed and they pointed out the best places to walk on the area.

Wish we had booked for longer - The Bothy

Pros: Loved it all. The cosy cottage, powerful shower, amazing views (even captured the Northern Light) Exceptional hosts. Everything was spotless. Dog bowls provided. Would stay again in a heartbeat

Cons: WiFi was a little temperamental but nothing too noticeable. Tv not affected but mobiles may be depending on network. Affected my phone but not my partners

A great find nestled in Speyside.

Pros: Beautiful location nestled right in Speyside. The renovated stables make for a unique stay! It's a quick drive to Elgin for dinner, shopping, etc.

Cons: The bed had a dip in the middle which made it a little uncomfortable but other than that it was great!

Superb!!

Pros: We couldn't fault our stay- exceptional cleanliness, well equipped. well kept surroundings \u0026 our host went above \u0026 beyond to make our stay perfect. We highly recommend staying here!!

Relaxing holiday

Pros: The place is beautifully kept, cosy and comfortable. Sharon is an excellent host! Would highly recommend it!

Lovely self catering in the heart of Speyside, well maintained and equipped.

Pros: The accommodation was a stylish modernised steading with many personal touches like fresh flowers. It was tastefully decorated and had everything you need.. It was near Dufftown where I was visiting friends. The owners were attentive.

Cons: Not much . The only thing, as a dog owner, there was nowhere on the doorstep to walk dog first and last thing. The nearby track was a private , keep out road.There was a garden but it wasnt fenced in and unsuitable for my dog. As I had to pay £25 for the dog for 3 nights, this was annoying.. The shops in Rothes, the nearest place, were poor but I realise there many in Elgin etc. I just did not have time to go there. The matress sagged a bit and was not the best.
