Strathardle Lodge

Cosy, clean, with a delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts!

Pros: The lodge is set in a beautiful location, with a fantastic breakfast on offer in the morning. Our room was cosy and spotlessly clean, with a big comfortable bed. Gosia and Chris were lovely, very attentive and friendly.

Cons: Nothing! We have no complaints at all.

Amazing stay in a fantastic Lodge!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Every evening we were spending in a lovely lounge, where owners were lighting up a fire place for us. Breakfast was delicious. We got to know friendly locals during the quiz night, it was amazing experience and a lot of fun.

Pros: Beautiful house with excellent staff and amenities. In a stunning location too. The rooms were excellent, decorated to a very high standard with a brilliant mattress and attention paid to details. The shower was one of the best I’ve used in any hotel (and I’ve stayed in hundreds). All things really well thought out and taken care of. Nothing was too much for the hosts and the breakfast was excellent!! We’ll be back to stay. I’d highly recommend!

Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family stay with or without dogs. The Lodge is run very well by hosts Chris and Gosi

Pros: Comfortable room with a sumptuous bathroom, excellent cooked breakfast and most welcoming hosts. Friendly locals and a cozy bar with a wood fire. Woke up to overnight snowfall blanketing everything like a winter wonderland. Good parking and location.

Friendly, warm and cosy.. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, rooms were warm and comfortable. Great WiFi and smart tv in the room were perfect for what we wanted. On site bar was fab with a warm fire to sit by! Also love that it’s dog friendly! We didn’t bring our dog this time, but will next time! Drinking water and tea and coffee facilities in the room were a nice touch too!

Cons: There’s no option for dinner on site, but the owners are extremely helpful and kind and have a microwave you can use for meals with is a decent alternative.

Pros: Great location, snow around, great breakfast. Thank you Gosia. The wee bar was great, fireplace while you have a beer snowing outside was great relaxing time. Ps you can give tips with card too , they deserve it.

A nice, relaxing place.

Pros: The hotel is charming, with friendly hosts and their lovely pets. The room was cozy and comfortable, and parking was convenient. A pleasant stay with the option to enjoy your own meals in the dining area.

Cons: We didn’t have much time to fully explore or experience everything the hotel offers.

Highly recommend this wonderful lodge. 5 stars
