A great place to stay for a visit to Inverness.

Pros: Well situated for an easy walk into the city centre. Off-street parking. The breakfast room was spacious and the selection was generous and delicious. I liked having an armchair in the room and getting fresh biscuits in the room every day. The hostess was very accommodating and communicated well.

Can’t wait to go back 😆

Pros: We loved our stay at Fairwinds.Alma was great very welcoming and helpful. It felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and you had such a large choice of foods. The house itself was so close to the city walking distance which was helpful. So much to see in Inverness we loved our stay wish we could have stayed longer.I will return one day😊

Pros: Elma was welcoming. Spread at breakfast was amazing 👏 . Tray in the room is really good too. Not often do you get hot chocolate at a guest house.

Cons: The only negative I can think is that check-in is only 4pm-6pm. It worked for us but may not suit everyone.

Pros: Friendly landlady, good food and clean comfortable rooms.

A lovely place to be.

Pros: Accommodation was spotlessly clean and remarkably quiet given that it was busy. Room was perfectly adequate, comfortable bed and good hot shower. Breakfast was lovely. The highlight of the stay was Elma, the owner. Professional, courteous and friendly without being over bearing.

Cozy and comfortable room

Pros: Elma was really kind to offer breakfast a little bit earlier than usual since we had to go out of the room at 7:30 am to take a tour. The room and bathroom were really clean. The location was 15 minutes away from the city centre, so it was practical.

Cons: I really liked everything.

Very good B and B for the price with parking and a lovely breakfast

Pros: The location was great for walking to central Inverness. The owner was friendly without being intrusive. The room was spacious and light. There was a wide choice of sweet food items in addition to the good quality cooked breakfast. The tea was in a big pot with spare hot water. The tea tray supplies in the room were generous. It was a quiet location with good parking at property, but I don't remember asking for a quiet room especially as it says in this survey, unless it was a question I had to answer when booking. I think we must have been upgraded for free as we had an ensuite shower room which was a nice surprise.

Cons: I should have preferred to be asked before breakfast was cooked about how I like it, and then we could have said if we didn't want any of the cooked items. I found the bacon and sausage too lightly cooked to be really appetising but I know some prefer it that way. On some Freeview channels including Sky Arts the picture broke up so badly it was unwatchable, though other channels were fine. That seemed a bit surprising in a fairly central city location.

Cozy bed and breakfast in Inverness

Pros: Our stay here in Inverness was so comfortable and cozy. We were so pleased with the delicious Scottish breakfast in the morning and the very comfortable and beautiful bed and breakfast. It was a quick walk to the center and the neighborhood was very cute.

Cons: I have nothing bad to say about this lovely place! Everything was very comfortable and exceeded our expectations.
