Ness City Cottage

Funky, fun, comfy and clean.

Pros: It was really compact but wasn’t lacking anything. It was so well thought out and the bed was wonderfully comfortable!

All that was required for my stay and as I said accommodation is small but perfectly formed

Pros: Location very good. Easy walking distance to city centre

Cons: Well appointed and everything you need for an overnight stay pleasantly surprised at how ‘small but perfectly formed’ the accommodation was. Not the comfiest of beds and an unseen ‘fan’ or such came on \u0026 off at frequent intervals during the night so not the soundest of sleep. Fridge stocked with bottled water \u0026 yogurts which is a lovely touch. I didn’t meet the owner personally (I had to leave early next morning) but over the intercom sounded a lovely lady as mentioned in the many very positive reviews

Pros: Everything. Host was amazing, beautiful location close to everything in walking distance. Room was well equipped. Bar fridge very useful. Crokery provided and snacks and water left for guests. Homely feel.

Cons: Nothing to dislike about this, I would recommend for everyone! Family options etc also available.

Wonderful and cosy

Pros: This is a wonderful cosy cottage, situated very close to the city with convenient parking. Brenda was a lovely host and very helpful

Had 2 nights here and loved it, will definitely be going back next time I visit Inverness

Pros: Host was amazing couldn’t do enough for us when my husband took unwell, was very quaint with lots of little extra touches

Pros: The accomodation is lovely and so is Brenda. She was an incredibly helpful host in her picturesque cottage. The place is a nice 10/15 minute walk by the water away from the center of Inverness.

Cons: The only thing to take into account is that windows cannot be kept open during the night, unless you are a somewhat late sleeper + early riser, since the area can be a bit noisy, also on early Sunday mornings.

Fabulous host, lovely wee stay

Pros: Fabulous welcome, smart, clean \u0026 modern looking accommodation

Cons: The immediate area around the accommodation was not so appealing to be honest, looked somewhat rundown sorry to say. However, the accommodation was in an excellent position for experiencing/exploring Inverness

Pros: Really comfy bed, had a great sleep. Stylish decor, friendly host, easy to park right outside.

Great place, central location

Pros: The location was good - just a short and very pleasant walk along the river to the city centre. Brenda was great at communicating and the breakfast items were a nice touch. The room was clean and comfortable.

One Night Stay.

Pros: Accommodation spotlessly clean. Very nice room with feature old brick wall \u0026 old fireplace. 2nd room again very nice. Furnishings, bathroom etc all tastefully decorated even down to quality of the mugs, dishes, glasses available in rooms. Nice touch with shortbread, yogurt, bottled water etc available that are included in price. Brenda, host very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for her \u0026 pointed us in the right direction for City centre \u0026 gave us information re places to eat etc that was very helpful. Good location around a 10-15min walk to city centre.

Cons: The only thing I personally didn't like was the fact there are 4 rooms within the property to rent. I was under the impression that I was renting a 2 bedroom cottage for the night. This arrangement ment that we had to go to each others room \u0026 had no shared space. However in the properties defence it was quiet (not sure if the other 2 rooms were occupied?) It is around a 10 minute walk from city centre (flat no hills) our friend uses a stick \u0026 found it a little far to walk but this has nothing to do with the property.
