Balmridge House

Pros: Super friendly host - Jane was amazing and very accommodating. Quaint rooms with a lovely touch from the host - great banana bread! Very close to the cows in the centre of town so you see them during breakfast, and a good spot if you're a hiker as I was able to dry all my kit in the Hosts dry room.

Loch Ness paradise

Pros: Very well kept, the owner is really a nice person and thy the best to make you feel comfortable, the room was very well cleaned, breakfast nice (the owner asks you what you like to eat the day before). Very nice position if you want to enjoy Loch Ness and some other place nearby (e.g. Glenfinnan viaduct just 1h30). I advice to visit it!

Cons: The water of the bathroom was challenging, in the end you have to decide if you want pressure or warm water. Anyway, I’m sure the owner will fix it in the future. Considering the end of the season (pretty much out of it), the price was a little high.

Super comfortable, welcoming \u0026 a pleasurable stay.

Pros: A wonderfully comfortable and inviting stay. Super clean and the really lovely touch of a packed lunch as we had to leave before breakfast \u0026 some homemade scones when we came back from a hike.

Pros: The location,ideal for exploring area. The accomadation was lovley clean and comfortable ,Jane was a great host warm and friendly,would stay again,if we travel that way.

Cons: Nothing ,loved staying there.

Luxury stay in Loch Ness with the most amazing hosts!

Pros: Balmridge B\u0026B was in the perfect location! It was clean and comfortable, with exceptional hosts and an incredible breakfast every morning. The house was so quiet at night, and I slept perfectly for the three nights we were there. Jane helped us pick activities for our stay, all of which were amazing - especially seeing the highland cows! The B\u0026B is furnished to a very high standard and I would call it a luxury place to stay.

Cons: There was nothing I disliked. It was perfect.

Loved it, and I'll be back again

Pros: From start to finish, it was 5 stars for my 2 night stay as a so traveller, it was comfy, welcoming, peaceful, yummy food and the hosts were excellent. From the little extra touches in the room, Swiss roll and whisky on arrival, a packed lunch when I had to miss breakfast due to a tour I had booked. Jane went above and beyond and James helped me with an issue with my rental car, who would have thought 🙂 It is literally a home from home. The comfiest bed I've ever slept in and so quiet, bliss in Bambridge House, with stunning views of Loch Ness and the extra bonus of the two resident bulls in the field across the way, who were 2 gentle giants relaxing above the views of Loch Ness

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect

Wonderful place to stay with a lovely host, very comfortable room and a warm and inviting atmosphere

Pros: Balmridge House is a fabulous bed and breakfast. Jane is the ultimate host - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious with a wonderful choice of dishes and the view from the table of rolling hills and Loch Ness in the distance was unbeatable.

Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like about Balmridge House. I didn't like having to leave!

Pros: Jane and James were wonderful hosts and made our stay unforgettable. The location is perfectly quiet, clean and furnished with love, care and style. We absolutely recoomend to stay at balmridge!

Brilliant stay at Balmridge House!

Pros: We loved our bedroom and the ensuite bathroom and also the conservatory where we could sit and contemplate the lovely view. The decor in the house was very much to our taste both peaceful and calm and created with great thought and care. Jane was an excellent host and it was clear she was very committed to her guests contentment. We very much enjoyed the breakfast offering too and recommend a stay at Balmridge House wholeheartedly.

Cons: We liked everything.

Pros: Its an experience in itself to stay at this property. The wonderful host, the beautiful location, the delicious breakfast, the list is endless
