The best B\u0026B we have had so far. Just unforgettable.

Pros: It starts with its great location outside, but close to Ballater, offering a marvellous view. The house interior is very nice and cosy, the suite was spacious and offered all amenities we have been looking for. The biggest assets are nevertheless Louise and Martyn; they have provided a generous and relaxed hospitality we haven’t encountered before in any B\u0026B. And Louise, I have to mention that, is an excellent chef with a great breakfast and dinner experience.

Cons: Everything was fantastic there.

A cracking wee B\u0026B!

Pros: Cosy and homely property which was remote but easy access to Ballater with a half hour walk or a few minutes by car. A 10 minute drive to Balmoral/Crathiie and other areas of interest. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious with lots of choice. Martyn and Louise were wonderful hosts and have thought of everything to make your stay a pleasure. Probably the best B\u0026B We have ever stayed in. The most stunning area. Would recommend and not hesitate to return.

Cons: Nothing not to like!

Pros: Everything was and is perfect. Martin and Louise’ hospitality truly made for an exceptional stay. From their warm and welcoming charm, to their personal touches as we celebrated our engagement which happened during our stay at Craggan. The views and location are second to none, food and comfort along with amenities - we couldn’t have asked for more. It was a spot of heaven we were sad to leave

Just wish we could have stayed longer, the perfect place to unwind.

Pros: We stayed at 17 properties on our UK trip and this was our absolute favourite by far. A beautiful couple with a very cosy, welcoming home. Our room was immaculate and our bed was like sleeping in a big marshmallow. The bathroom was big and everything was perfect, right down to the freshly baked lemon drizzle cake to go with our cuppa ☺️ Breakfast was delicious and more baking was offered to us for our journey ahead. Thank you so much for having us, your home is beautiful ❤️

Everything you wish for and than some!

Pros: Everything was taken care of in great detail. Room was spacious, bed was super comfortable, bathroom was superb with a beautifully designed and spacious walkin shower and everything was thought off. The hosts are super people and we will come back if we travel back to Scotland again. I was a bit under the weather and Matthew offered me a very nice glass of smooth local whiskey. It was soothing to the throat and made me sleep well. Breakfast was exactly what we like (continental and light with fruit, yoghurt and croissants) but other guests were enjoying a superb choice of heartier breakfast fare.

Relaxing, cared for and very hospitable. Superb place to stay near the town and Balmoral

Pros: Views and setting excellent. Quiet at night, no traffic. Spacious comfortable room. As we were two ladies our hosts offered us two single duvets as the bed was king size so that was helpful. Breakfast excellent.

Cons: No space in bathroom to put toiletries bag except floor. Need a stand or shelf near basin preferably.

Pros: Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Can’t recommend enough!

Cons: Everything - the breakfast was fabulous, the rooms brilliant and the hosts were lovely people

Pros: Hospitality shown by Martin \u0026 Louise is second to none. From the greeting to farewell everything was perfect. I will definitely be returning, one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!
