Craigshannoch Luxury 1 bed woodland lodge hot tub

So close to perfect

Pros: Lovely peaceful lodge. Relaxing stay. Perfect get away for a couple. Hot tub was amazing. Bed was so comfy and the bedding was soft. We slept very well. Loved the addition of the Christmas lights. Lodge was always cosy despite the cold temperatures outside. A few places deliver to the lodge: we had Aroy Thai and a Domino’s. Both found the lodge ok. We also visited Marshall’s farm shop, a must if you visit the lodge. Ate at Asian Kitchen as well and the staff were lovely and food was yummy! We took a lovely walk to Kintore as well.

Cons: Our lodge didn’t seem like it had been hoovered but everything else was clean. Water pressure in the shower / bathroom wasn’t great but water was hot. A few things thay could improve the stay: Selection of tea bags, coffee sachets and sugar. Somewhere to put clothes away when staying for longer than one night instead of living out of a suitcase More towels if staying for longer since you’re also using the hot tub often Curtains or frosted window coverings in the bathroom An iron would also be a plus. All small things that didn’t spoil our trip but could improve things for future guests.

The perfect accommodation for a cosy and relaxed few days without any stress

Pros: It was clean, tidy and very cosy. Secluded amongst the trees with a wood fired hot tub. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or a very relaxing wind down. It’s our 3rd visit and will return for sure. Graham is an excellent host and his staff are welcoming and friendly. It’s an excellent escape for a few days.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

A very relaxing weekend

Pros: The property was so cosy and sweet and it was lovely and clean. We got an email with detailed instructions on how to find the lodge and a mobile number if we needed it. We had stayed a few nights so understandably by the last day the hot tub was slightly dirty as we had used it everyday and night! but after a quick message to Graham he came out and clean the hot tub with absolutely no hassle whatsoever and we were able to enjoy the hot tub one last time before we left. We will definitely be back!

Pros: Very cosy, beautiful one room lodge. Furnished to a high standard. Shower room was perfect. Outdoor area well equipped and hot tub was ideal.

Perfect romantic getaway

Pros: Absolutely loved it. Loved the look as we opened the door, fairy lights and lamps made it look cosy and romantic. Loved the decor . Loved the outside space. The best romantic getaway you could ask for

Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay!

Pros: We really enjoyed being able to use the hot tub and the addition of fairy lights/Christmas lights made it feel cosy and romantic. The property had all the facilities needed for a comfortable 2 day stay.

Cons: The shower pressure was poor but very hot. Certain areas had low head height so need to be mindful if you are a tall person. Both of these are minor points, overall it is hard to find anything we didn't like.

Beautiful Lodge and hot tub

Pros: Loved the hot tub, we could control the temp via the log fire. Beautiful scenery and a beautiful lodge. Graham was absolutely lovely and very accommodating.

Cons: Honestly everything was amazing but if we had to split hairs, the shower pressure could have been better and basics such as tea and coffee could have been provided. But that really is splitting hairs 🤣 it was amazing!

Pros: warm, cosy, romantic! even in winter months the hot tub was perfect! very quiet and private location!

Pros: Fantastic lodge. In a great location, peaceful and relaxing with rabbits, red squirrels and deer to be seen close by the lodge. A few minutes drive to Kintore and Inverurie. The lodge had everything we needed for a great stay. The king size bed was so comfortable. Outdoor decking area was very spacious. Great use of gas BBQ, dinning area, hot tub. Will definitely return and recommend.
