Pros: The property was spacious and had all the facilities we needed. It was clean and everything worked. Great location.

Perfect Apartment in the Perfect Location

Pros: Beautifully appointed large space. Comfy bed, great shower, super well equipped Kitchen. Close to all the action in Dornoch.

Pros: Large generally comfortable, spacious and in a great location. Wow, when we first walked in.

Cons: Sofas in the sitting room were very old and uncomfortable and I prefer more light. I found the house dark. The TV in the kitchen and bedroom didn’t work although that didn’t dampen our holiday.

Spacious apartment with friendly hosts

Pros: Easy access with key box on the front door. Spacious apartment, very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen (we just used it for breakfast thought as they are plenty of dining options in town). Friendly and helpful hosts. Parking straight in front of the house and in the driveway. Good alternative to a hotel as it gives you plenty of space and more flexibility. Walking distance to Royal Dornoch Golf club.

Cons: None of the windows open so you can’t get any fresh air. We spent several hours with the front door open to get rid of the chemical smell from the sweet room fragrances used to mask the musty air. There is no door to the bathroom, just a shower curtain. Bedroom only has blinds so the light isn’t blocked out (sunrise is early in Scotland during summer time). On the third night we returned from dinner and golf and there wasn’t any hot water. Apparently the boiler is set to heat twice a day for environmental reasons which obviously didn’t happen after our first shower. A last and definitely minor detail, we’d prefer a proper Nespresso capsule coffee machine over a French press :-)

Pros: Spacious, modern yet comfortable with all of the amenities.

Cons: Nothing.
