Pros: A beautiful, well kept hotel, with wonderful spa and pool. Staff really helpful. Location good for exploring Deeside.

Cons: The bar / diner was very quiet in the evenings. Perhaps, at Christmas, some live music could be good.

Pros: Overall good stay, suite was spacious and facilities in suite really good, staff happy and helpful

Cons: Although a high quality hotel, food cost was a little higher than expected and the breakfast was nice but a little over priced

The wife thoroughly enjoyed her birthday treat away

Pros: The swimming pool and leisure facilities were great, and the food was excellent in the restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly

Very enjoyable and ideal for a short vacation in lovely surroundings.

Pros: Lovely relaxing break in a junior suite. Food and service was very good in the brasserie/lounge. Enjoyed the leisure facilities albeit probably too many children in the main swimming pool at the time we visited.

A great place to stay.

Pros: Very nice, well-appointed accommodation. Beautiful grounds. Leisure facilities were very good.

Cons: The only thing that couldn't be helped was the suite was extremely hot. The windows for safety reasons could only be opened a fraction. Cooler air couldn't flow into the rooms. An electric fan was provided, but it couldn't cool the rooms down. Sleeping was impossible.

Lovely overnight stay

Pros: Lovely interior and all To a high standard. Excellent facilities and lovely studio room. Staff were all excellent, attentive and friendly

Very enjoyable short break.

Pros: Leisure facilities were very good. Junior suite with lounge and kitchenette made stay very enjoyable.

Cons: Safe was faulty when we arrived,maintenance fixed problem only for the safe to break down again on day two of our stay.Just went without a safe for the remainder of our stay.

Best of Ballater

Pros: Beautiful location, was given a free room upgrade to super suite. A short walk into Ballater. Facilities were first class. Huge swimming pool and spa free to guests.
