Grant Arms Hotel

Perfect bike packing pit stop!

Pros: The Grant Arms Hotel was the perfect accommodation for my brother and I to stay in during a bike packing trip. Our room was nice, well heated and clean, we had a safe place to store our bikes indoors and the staff were very friendly and let us bring in our calzones into the bar to have with a couple of pints! We both really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere here. The hotel is also very close to a co-op and to cafes/ takeaways which made it ideal for what we were doing.

Pros: I got an upgrade, they provide me a room with my own bathroom.

Good place to stay

Pros: We were really impressed by the size of the room. It had everything you may need during a short stay, including cutlery, fridge and microwave. Even though there is a pub downstairs it wasn't noisy ( if you won't count seagulls outside 😉). The owner was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the Cullen centre, so everything is close - shops, café etc. There is also a small green space nearby, very convenient for dog owners. Very good value for the money

Cons: Bathroom cleanliness could be improved. Also, there was a very strong smell of some detergent/refresher in the bed, far to strong for me.

Clean and big room. Bar area needs a refresh.

Pros: I stayed in a Duluxe Double for 1 night. It was very clean and there was a fridge and a microwave in the room, as well as a kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits.

Cons: The bar area downstairs is a bit dated and could do with a refresh.

Pros: Excellent room, very clean and well equipped including desk and leather chair, armchair, microwave, TV. The hotel is located in the town centre so is very convenient for local amenities and attractions.

Pros: Perfect location, fantastic staff, just what we needed

Cons: Nothing value for money. And fantastic hosts

Overall a good place to stay - Thin curtains only real big negative

Pros: A nice place to stay. Shower was nice pressure and bed was comfy. The inclusion of a microwave was a nice touch which meant food could be purchased at the co op across the road.

Cons: Little noise from bar downstairs, not an issue for sleep though as bar closed at 11pm. The curtains very thin and let loads of light in.

Pros: The staff were super friendly and the room was clean and comfy

Cons: Just a wee bit too noisy, but it is a pub so that’s to be expected. Water pressure in the shower is not great

Pros: Hostess was really nice. The situation was in centre. Room was clean, the bed very comfortable.

Cons: Considering that it was above the pub... If I was an early sleeper it would have been noisy for my ears. Luckily I wasn't.
