Nurse's Cottage

Lovely clean and well equipped cottage in a beautiful rural location. We had a wonderful week discovering the Cairngorms

Pros: Lovely comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, warm, hot shower, nicely decorated, plenty of space.

Cons: Comfier sofas would have been nice as they are quite small and narrow so hard to lounge on. (Minor point though)

It was lovely, warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Pros: Location was perfect, not far from anything in village. Kids enjoyed that playpark was so near. Beautiful countryside and walks nearby.

Very quiet and relaxing week.

Pros: Its a very bright and spacious house. Has everything you need. Love the window seat and table at the window. Its a nice place to sit.

Cons: Only slight negative is i would brighten up the main bedroom just a bit dark.

Homely, comfortable and relaxing

Pros: It was a home from home. Very relaxing and comfortable in beautiful surroundings.

Pros: This is a lovely property in a wonderful location. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

Cons: The only issue we had was that we arrived very tired from our journey (I drove for 12 hours to reach the cottage) and we were all hugely looking forward to recovering by relaxing by a roaring fire - so it was a big disappointment to find there was no firewood available, and that this hadn't been made clear prior to our arrival. We sourced firewood the next day from Aviemore and after that we enjoyed lovely fires in the evenings. One of the reasons we'd chosen Nurses Cottage was specifically for the woodburner, so it would have been nice to have some firewood available on our arrival. That was literally the only downside, as everything else about the property and our stay there was excellent and we'd thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent. Would love to stay again

Pros: Clean, well presented, ideal base for access to local mountain attractions.

Cons: Someone’s evidently liberated your bread knife… honestly that’s it. It was excellent!

Pros: Location, quality of furnishings, well-equipped, warm with plenty of hot water, lovely external area and garden, off road parking.

Cons: Nothing really. A dustpan and brush would have been handy but that’s a small point.

Pros: The apartaments are very tidy, also comfortable beds. Stylish design, it has been put a lot of effort.

Comfy, relaxing cottage in a lovely little village - we loved it!

Pros: This is a lovey location. I was travelling for work and broke the journey with a stay at Nurses Cottage, so my family and I could enjoy a break in the Cairngorms; we are so pleased we decided to do so. Nurse's Cottage is spacious enough for our family, well kept, very comfortable, and in the perfect location. We loved it, as did the kids - with a small play area right next door.
