Rest, perfected.

Pros: The Boathouse is that piece of your soul you always felt was missing. Every fixture and fitting, every view and walk, is built around the friendly generosity of the staff who give far more than can be expected. In the eye of a literal storm, this place was pure calm.

Traumlage in den Highlands, gute Lage für Ausflüge. Wir haben es geliebt !!

Pros: Ausgesuchte Lage, ca. 10 min von Tomich Holidays in den Bergen. Fahrt dahin mit gestelltem 4WD (Defender). Alleinlage an einem See (Ruderboot am Haus), Ausstattung des kleinen Hauses geschmackvoll, Sessel und Bett sehr bequem. Das Haus ist energieautark (Solar/ Kleines Windrad). Strom ist mehr als ausreichend, um Handies etc. zu laden (nur 1 Steckdose). Sehr effizienter Ofen zum Kochen und für heisses Wasser. Mobilfunkempfang (LTE) sehr eingeschränkt im Haus, aber gut auf der Terrasse. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter problemlos über Whatsapp; Küchenkräuter bei Tomich Holidays (Umstieg auf den 4WD).

A bit of an adventure, lovely location and comfortable bed.

Pros: Wonderful location, very comfortable. The building is very new and in good condition. We loved the boat and the hot tub, and had great fun with the Land Rover Defender. Ollie was very helpful in checking us in and keeping everything squared away. It was great having access to the swimming pool in the main building.

Cons: We found the stove/heater a bit difficult to begin with, but got more skilled as we adjusted to the pace of living off grid. The shower was very warm, and the water plentiful, but gravity feed was not amazing; however we understand that there are limitations, and didn't expect a drench shower!
