Lovely rustic Scottish house and tonnes of charm

Pros: Lovely location, rustic aged feel but not in a bad way, in a lovely charming warm way that invites you back to return for another trip , recommend to anyone

Cons: Only one tiny point would be lighting as coming in during night but dark and didn’t want to get too close to building.

Fantastic

Pros: Excellent house, with good grounds and rooms, Plenty of space for your family to spread out so you aren't under each others feet. Kitchen has a very large table, we could get 10 around it easy.

Cons: Upstairs bathrooms could do with a wee refresh, but literally only minor complaint we had.

Pros: The house was amazing, comfortable and roomy. Wonderful surroundings and lots of quiet.

Cons: Not many local restaurants. But great cooking facilities to make your own meals.

Peaceful Farmhouse Getaway with Amazing Views

Pros: We had a lovely stay at this farmhouse. The location was amazing – beautiful countryside views, plenty of space, and lovely walks right from the doorstep. It has a rustic charm, which we really enjoyed as it gave us an authentic countryside experience. The house could benefit from a bit of basic refurbishment (a fresh coat of paint here and there, and one bathroom was missing a mirror), and body wash was not provided as in many other accommodations on Booking.com, but we bought our own. None of this spoiled our holiday – overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Pros: We spent a great week at the house with two families. We just loved it and enjoyed every day. The house has everything one could wish for, a very well-equipped kitchen, two comfortable living rooms and plenty of space for eight people. We can recommend it whole-heartedly.

Pros: Chris was very helpful with answering all our questions. The house was lovely and had everything we needed for our holiday. The surrounding area was incredible, especially with the snow and we were able to go on plenty of walks and hikes nearby. It was also very cool to come back and then cook a meal on the Aga. Will definitely be planning to stay again

Pros: Cluny Mains is a lovely period farmhouse that is filled with charm. The location is beautiful set in lovely countryside. Chris the owner was excellent in his pre arrival contact and called on our first night to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Cluny Mains ticked all the boxes and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the future. Our thanks go to Chris in sharing his lovely farmhouse.

Cons: I have no complaints other than I wished we had booked for longer.

Pros: The house was very homely and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities and more! And it's in a wonderful location.

Roomy, cosy farmhouse perfect for groups

Pros: Chris was so helpful with our stay and recommended some fantastic walks and things to do. Ideal for us hiking but there's so much around. Absolutely loved this characterful house. We'll be back!

Cons: Some of the mattresses (twin room) very uncomfortable. Empty log baskets and an empty box of firelighters and no paper to light the fire wasn't very welcoming.
