Peaceful place to stay

Pros: Lovely place to stay, nice views across the river. We saw salmon leaping upstream. Within walking distance of some waterfalls. Not too midgey when we stayed there (although some at dawn and dusk). Useful laundry room. Fireplace was ready for us to use when we arrived which we really appreciated. Living room area was comfy and cosy. Very peaceful. Good location for visiting the west and east coasts (about an hour from each). You can apply for fishing permits (we didn't do this though).

Cons: First night was a bit disturbed by noise of bats/birds in the attic but hosts were very responsive and we didn't hear them again after the first night. Our children said the twin beds were very uncomfortable but our bed was fine!
