Pros: Location is beautiful. Lovely place, perfect for dog walks and peace and quiet. Lovely sized rooms and garden. Loved the place

Cons: Chipped plates and mugs. To be fair they probably need replaced regularly so an easy miss by hosts.Bathroom door handle area a bit grubby, but bedrooms and kitchen etc exceptionally clean. A wee welcome basket would have been a lovely touch. Would jump at the chance to go back, so just me being picky. Thanks for a lovely stay

Pros: Spent 4 days in Thistle cottage at the start of the year during a period of heavy snowfall. What a beautiful place to find some peace and quiet. Bart and Alex were both attentive hosts who helped with any queries we had and offered advice on nearby walks in the gorgeous surrounds. The house is beautifully presented and was very warm and cosy despite the freezing temperatures outside! They have created a lovely oasis in the Highlands and I hope to be lucky enough to return in the future. Thanks Bart and Alex.

Pros: The cottage was in a lovely, peaceful private setting. It had everything you needed with spacious rooms, tastefully decorated. Wonderful comfortable bed, had a fantastic sleep.
