Lovely house in a beautiful location

Pros: It's a lovely house, very spacious and warm, with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Location is really good. We used the kitchen to cook our meals, and had everything we needed and was clean (although some pots and plates had to be washed before use). Very easy to find, and super easy check in and check out. We didn't have any issues with opening the front door.

Cons: We had issues with both showers. The host was super responsive and resolved one of them straight away, and the other was going to be sorted when we left (we only stayed for 2 nights). The sitting arrangement in the living room could be better to be more comfortable for a group of 4 people to sit in. Also, as mentioned, it would be very useful to have somewhere to hang coats. I found the twin beds to have a fair amount of dust.

Cosy Holiday Home

Pros: The cosy home feel, access to the town sea and other attractions.

Cons: Initially trying to get in the front door even with instructions was made easy when you pull the handle and twist the key. We found you can avoid the ticks from the hard to see small steps into the bedrooms by placing down something like a light coloured sock to highlight them, and lastly the end corners to the double bed need careful negotiating in the dark... ouch!

Loved it!

Pros: Was a lovely little cottage in a very quiet village. Was about 20 minutes back in to Inverness. The cottage was clean and comfy.

Cons: Nothing to dislike though the door lock was a little tricky.

Beautiful cottage - you won’t want to leave

Pros: This is such a beautiful cottage and it had absolutely everything we needed. Fortrose is just lovely! We were staying for the Cromarty Regatta and this location was perfect. The cottage is just gorgeous and the garden is just lovely to sit and have a morning coffee. Had a brilliant stay. Cannot recommend enough.

Cons: Loved everything. Wish I could have stayed longer

Pros: Really spacious bungalow. Lots of room for the four of us. Two bathrooms was really handy. Well equipped for self catering and a great location.

Perfect quiet stay for both of us

Pros: Location was ideal for us as my mum needed to be close to everything due to her mobility issues Nice and quiet, spacious for both of us.

Except one toilet and mattress everything was awesome. Very good quiet and peaceful location

Pros: The property was awesome very neat n clean but we didn’t get one toilet working on very first day and even tha owner didn’t offer anything as compensation or courtesy

Cons: Mattress was of very very poor quality and condition. You are on vacation and when you come back after lot of walking and places visit so you need proper comfy bedding but i felt beck-ache so mattress was very bad

Perfectly located for a peaceful break in the scenic Black Isle

Pros: We were perfectly positioned to visit family locally. The local town/village has everything that you need almost on the doorstep with the local shop only a minute away by foot. The beach is a short walk and the location is generally very peaceful.

Lovely cottage in Fortrose

Pros: Lovely cottage in Fortrose. Nice garden. Good communication regarding keys and facilities.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay - golfing and walking.

Pros: As advertised. Met needs of myself and daughter very well.
