Cosy Hygge/ Scottish themed home by Loch Ness

Comfortable, well equipped and handy

Pros: Lovely location, nicely furnished, comfortable rooms

Cons: I know it was being updated, but lack of information book on the house meant we had to ring the owners to find out about the heating.

Homely and peaceful

Pros: A beautiful clean house. Location was great, a nice walk to the local shops and cafes.

A Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay

Pros: Lovely kitchen and decor.. very modern and comfortable and relaxing.. lovely bedspread in 1 bedroom.

Cons: Some basic provisions might have been nice

Pros: Good location - centre of village was walking distance. Very comfortable, very clean, lovely decor and comfortable beds

Cons: Not really a dislike, but the only thing I can imagine would enhance the stay for families would be the provision of a microwave. However cooking facilities and equipment were otherwise excellent.

Pros: Great place and in walking distance to Fort Augustus. Beautifully decorated and spotless

Brilliant 2 bedroomed house, very clean and everything worked perfectly.

Pros: Great location, lots of room and everything you needed worked perfectly. Hard to find fault, only comment would perhaps be no microwave or air fryer. Great size for a 2 bedroomed property and walking distance from the town centre. We loved it.

We had a fantastic time and would definitely consider returning.

Pros: A lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful central location. It had everything we needed and more and Fort Augustus is a gorgeous village right on the banks of Loch Ness. We would definitely considering returning and highly recommend this cottage.

Perfect Home in Fort Augustus

Pros: EVERYTHING! It was perfect and cosy at every corner. It's a Home away from home. The home was well equipped. The host was reachable and responsive. Thank you Juliette and George, we love your house. Thank you for having us.

Cons: Couch was very seasoned and sunken in. But it was no biggie as everything else was perfect!

Pros: A truly cosy place. Suitable for a longer stay with a family, and perfectly situated allowing you to explore this incredibly beautiful region and enjoy every coming back to this house. Highly recommendable and I don't write this normally - but if I get to come back to Scottland, I will definitely check if this house is available.
