Mortlach Cottage

Beautiful little cottage with everything we needed for a comfortable two night stay

Pros: Very spacious cosy cottage. Kitchen well equipped.

Pros: Nice wee house. Very clean very warm plenty plates cutlery dishwasher washing machine tumble dryer We really enjoyed very much

Cons: Only one tiny minus was no shower gel in the bathroom 🙈 we didn’t take it with us as normally it’s not an issue anymore.

A wee hime from home

Pros: Fabulous cottage in a perfect spot for exploring the area and for local cafes, pubs and distilleries. Spotlessly clean and with everything we needed. Nice wee touches including biscuits, milk, tea and coffee. Loved our stay.

Pros: We had a great time at Mortlach Cottage. There was no need to worry about arrival time – the key was easily accessible from a coded lockbox. The number of rooms was just right, and the separate beds were a big plus, as we were five friends traveling for whisky tastings. The accommodation and kitchen were very well equipped – I can only recommend it.

Cons: If I had to mention one small downside, an extra toilet would have been nice. :)

Pros: Excellent location for visiting local distilleries Glenfiddich and Balvenie. We had a great time in Dufftown.

Pros: Good location , nice village setting , central for whisky tours , good pub nearby , cottage itself was spacious , kitchen and lounge a good size

Cons: Cold , heating either doesn’t work effectively or not strong enough , very cold at night in particular , shower not very strong , bathroom downstairs , not ideal but ok

Excellent stay in the hearth of Speyside.

Pros: Excellent location at the center of Dufftown. Parking in front, clean facilities.

Cons: Ceilings are a bit low so if you’re a bit taller you got to bend your head a few times.

Excellent value in the heart of the Whisky trail.

Pros: Clean \u0026 comfortable. All the facilities worked as expected. Comfortable bed. Excellent value for what I paid. It’s not a modern cottage, more like traditional Scottish. I was travelling on business, but the cottage is a short walk to the world famous Glendiddich distillery \u0026 Balvenie castle.

Cons: Just a minor point, but limited space for hanging clothes.

Comfortable and cosy stay in the Scottish highlands!

Pros: The cottage is very good value for money, comfortable and equipped with everything you might need for an overnight to extended stay. Walking distance to the Glenfiddich distillery, and all local amenities.

Cons: Everything was great apart from very small details which we discussed directly with the owner.

Great place to stay for a business trip

Pros: Cottage in the middle of Dufftown, easy to get keys and kitchen fully equipped.
