Cosy cottage perfect for a family getaway
Pros: The perfect cottage for Christmas celebration with family. The location is perfect, a small walk leads to some beautiful scenery. Short drive to nearby village for a supermarket was ideal. The rooms were cosy and the log fire was something that just added the extra magic needed at Christmas time.
Cons: The only minor was the showers, one upstairs required plunging as it would fill up quickly and the downstairs shower would go from extremely hot to extremely cold. My brother tried for half an hour to manage the temperature unsuccessfully. However, it was not something that dampened the mood or spirit of our stay

Great hidden gem in the heart of Speyside Whisky country
Pros: The cottage is a fantastic hidden gem near the town of Craigellachie. It is superbly and thoughtfully decorated with almost everything needed to cook and coorie in on a chillie night. The heating is central and very effective, in fact we had to turn it off regularly. The fireplace is also very effective and the host provides enough wood for the first night (or 2 nights if you are frugal with the amount used). The TV has netflix and the wifi is pretty decent. The beds are incredibly comfortable, best sleep we had on our whole trip, note 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs and its tricky to get big cases up there (we didn't try). We loved it and would absolutely stay again, thank you Kevin.
Cons: We had some hiccups on arrival but the host was immediately responsive on the number provided and more than made up for it the next day. The location is great but you need a car, its tricky to walk due to being on a main road with no foot path. The laundry is shared and outside next to the adjoining cottage, makes it tricky to use, we also couldn't find a hairdryer. None of this impacted our stay significantly.

Pros: Excellent location, spacious and nice kitchen area for self-catering.
Cons: Although not a bad reflection on the property per se, we had no mains water. We were informed that the water cutoff for the last day of our stay was as a result of issues with Scotland Water. Bottled water was supplied, but difficult to shower with a bottle😔

Cosy countryside hideaway, a comfortable stay and a home to return to.
Pros: The accommodation is located outside of the city, close to the farms and nature, which was very much to our liking. The cottage is easily accessible with a small, slightly worn road leading up to its parking spot. Getting the keys was a piece of cake from the key box. The interior, more so than the exterior, has a charming rural aesthetic, creating a cosy, homely atmosphere for the house. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor, which we found very convenient. The kitchen may need an update, including a new kettle and additional tableware, which we believe is essential for a longer stay, but it won't stop you from enjoying a lovely meal that you can make in the kitchen with the additional equipment. The bedrooms are spacious enough for larger luggage, and the beds are very comfortable, just like the other furniture in the house. This place has an incredible amount to offer, and its potential is limitless when we make an effort to nurture it.
Cons: Please be aware that the showers have a slow drain, which causes water to accumulate and form a puddle in the shower tray. The water tap in the downstairs bathroom is currently dripping, and while this may not be a major inconvenience for the guests, it's something that would be better to get fixed soon.

Excellent place to stay with everything you need but location difficult to find
Pros: Comfy and finished to a high standard the cottage was beautiful and perfect for the four of us.
Cons: Would have been nice to have a bath but that’s just being picky. The location is not in Craigelacchie and does not have a path to it so need to use your car all of the time.
