The Wee House by the Sea

Great wee place to stay for a few days.

Pros: Clean, comfortable and well equipped for such a small space. Owner responsive to contact. Great location just a few yards from the harbour and easy walk to the beach. Shop very close.

Cons: Parking is tricky if you want to be close to the door

Great week in a fabulous area of Scotland.

Pros: This is a lovely wee cottage - and it is wee but the description gives it away. So comfortable and everything catered for. The location is perfect for travelling around. Literally a minute’s walk to Balintore harbour. Plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. The neighbours were lovely and stopped to chat regularly. The owners were great - helpful and on hand if we needed them but not intrusive. This is a lovely wee house and a great area of Scotland to explore.

Cons: Nothing.

Ideal base for a couple

Pros: Small, cute and well equipped. Comfortable bed and good shower and cooking facilities. Good location close to shop, harbour and beach. Great as a base to explore the area.

Cons: It is a tiny cottage and maybe not so good for tall people, as the bedroom has a low ceiling. Could have done with an iron as we were attending an event locally.

Pros: Very comfortable little house. We had a great stay here. Nice \u0026 quiet.

Cons: The stairs up to the bedroom wouldn't suit anyone with mobility problems.

Quaint little cottage in a lovely village

Pros: Location, lovely little village and close to other places to visit. The cottage was cosy and suitably equipped.

The owners were always quick to help out with anything couldn’t do enough for you

Pros: The wee house was our best holiday stay ever. It has been such a magical time, not only in the house but also the cute village. We really enjoyed every single bit, from the walks on the beach to the cozy evenings on the sofa. We already know that we'll have to come back to this one. Never felt so much at home away from home. This was just perfect.

Perfect 3 day break away, will definitely return to this lovely little cottage.

Pros: Location was perfect for visiting the surrounding area. Cottage was a gem of a find, cute and comfortable. Local shop round the corner for all your needs and a local pub just a short stroll away.

Cons: I had no complaints at all.
