Fantastic

Pros: So conveniently close to aviemore centre Perfect for a 7 day holiday So comfortable and easy

Cons: My mature daughter opted for the spacious bedroom with the double bed I found the second bedroom a bit small as was the bed

Pros: The location was stunning! Such a cozy, comfortable lodge.

Pros: Beautiful lodge. Very clean when we arrived with all the little amenities supplied including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, hand soap, salt, pepper, etc. Good range of cooking amenities too so there was no need to eat out. Great location for accessing Aviemore itself - no need to drive as it is about a 10 min walk. Heating was very effective, didn't take a lot to keep the cabin cozy. There was a small selection of games, DVDs and leaflets that we made use of to plan some of our spare time.

Cons: Initially difficult to find lodge as the name of the lodge was not on the side of the road that you use to access and park up. Instructions said the lock box was next to the door but it was actually on a post of the decking so this took a little bit of time to find as we were concentrating on looking at the lodge rather than the decking. Paid WiFi that did not work as signal was too poor - not ideal when property is advertised to have WiFi. Would do with bath sheets rather than bath towels - the bath towel was a little on the small side for my partner who is 6'2. On site pub/ restaurant required pre booking which we didn't find out about until we went there to try and get food - was hoping to eat there on the first night after a long drive but instead had to find an alternative.

Lovely chalet only a stone's throw away from central Aviemore

Pros: The chalet was in a perfect central location with excellent views. It had a modern, comfy interior and was overall good value for money. We also appreciated the amount of care and detail the owner put into the check in instructions and liked the little touches that were left for us during our stay; shortbread, fudge, tea, coffee, etc.

Cons: The chalet's bathrooms were a little on the cramped side, but perfectly serviceable otherwise.

Pros: Cleanliness, location, access, facilities for washing and cleaning. Excellent kitchen. Small leak on radiators rectified the next day by the site service company. Owners very polite and professional.

Cons: Poor mobile signal together with chargeable WiFi meant we struggled to pull together plans for the next day and had to rely on pre planned material. Recycling facilities were locked on departure so we had to drive to the household recycling on our way home.

Uitstekende uitvalsbasis en prettig, rustig en schoon verblijf, alleen WIFI lukte ons niet.

Pros: Geweldige ligging als uitvalsbasis om het Cairngorms National Park te ontdekken. Je rijdt binnen paar minuten naar gebieden om te wandelen. Je bent ook binnen paar minuten rijden in Aviemore met grote supermarkt, diverse andere winkels en restaurants. Huis is erg schoon en prettig om in te verblijven. Fijne bedden. Rustig huisjespark.

Cons: Eigenlijk was alles goed. Helaas bleek bij aankomst dat de lattenbodem van een van de bedden gebroken was, maar communicatie hierover met de eigenaar verliep prettig en vlot. Eerste ochtend geen warm water om te douchen, maar werd zelfde dag verholpen. Enige minpunt was de WIFI, het is ons niet gelukt om in te loggen voor de betaalde WIFI. Kon alleen met PayPal (of credit card?) maar lukte ons niet. Eigen bereik van mobiele tel. was gelukkig goed genoeg in slaapkamer om streaming te kijken.
