Altonhill Cottage - room only

Our stay was Brillant, the room decor is lovely and the bed is so comfortable, great tv in the room too. The sitting are

Pros: Everything- Hosts were lovely and so helpful, room was stunning and in an ideal location

Pros: Extremely good last minute find - convenient for Inverness airport - very high quality furnishings and fit out, large comfortable bed, lots of thoughtful details.

Cons: On main road but actually this doesn’t impact you except for slight sound awareness- the sound insulation does work well.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Huge bed! Sammy was a great host and very easy to communicate with.

Pros: Easy to find. Rooms were gorgeous, beds really comfy, quality towels. Ensuite shower rooms really clean and modern, with toiletries. Generous provision of drinks \u0026 snacks. Hair drier provided. As we rented both rooms at the property, we felt comfortable to use the spacious and beautiful lounge/breakfast area, which had milk in fridge, range of cereals, gummy sweets for kids, tea \u0026coffee. It was also equipped with a microwave, and had fresh flowers on the table. Large smart TVs in all rooms. Off street parking and the hosts were excellent.

Cons: Road noise meant we had to keep windows shut, but we were then able to sleep ok.

Perfect stay with fantastic hosts.

Pros: Sammy and Fraser were the perfect hosts. They responded quickly to our questions, welcomed us warmly, gave more than generously and were full of recommendations. The room was lovely with close proximity to amazing attractions in the area and easily walkable to local cafes and beach stops. The bed was super comfortable and the shower fantastic. We had the best time, I cannot recommend them and Altonhill House enough! Thank you to them both.

Pros: We liked everything it was spotless very comfortable and Jen made us feel at home she is so welcoming will definitely stay there again.

Pros: The room was lovely, easy access bringing everything in from the car to the room. It felt lovely and homely. We arrived a bit later than expected but it was super easy to check in ourselves and then we left early so it was also easy to checkout. I wish we’d had more time to enjoy the room! Nice location in Nairn, easy to get to the amenities. I would stay again.
