Dunroamin Lodge

Great value for money, friendly staff, and a very welcoming warm environment.

Pros: Everything was very clean and the owners were very helpful if we ever had any problems during our stay. Was delighted with the overall condition of the lodge and will certainly be considering a revisit if we ever find ourselves in the area again.

Cons: Everything was great, nothing bad to say at all.

Pros: The lodge was immaculate \u0026 very well equipped. Twin room was pretty small but still had plenty room for my daughter \u0026 mum so no problem at all! My daughter enjoyed feeding the ducks \u0026 listening for the train! Gregor \u0026 Helen were excellent at answering any questions and were contactable at any time! I Would highly recommend staying at Dunroamin lodge.

Cons: The railway line runs right behind the lodge so you do hear the trains! After we heard the first one and knew what it was you hardly noticed them!

Pros: Dunroamin is situated nicely for access to Aviemore and the wider Cairngorm area. Itvwas warm and comfortable, ideal for two mates to share as we explored the area and the mountain photographing wildlife and the landscapes

Cons: Nothing really, it suited our needs very well.

Enjoyed the snowy weather. Dunroamin was a warm retreat.

Pros: Nice and clean within walking distance of the town.

Cons: Everything was good. Cooker was a bit difficult to operate at first but then we worked out what to do.

Very cosy And relaxing. A lovely get away place to relax.

Pros: Lovely and clean. Had everything I needed. Great location for shops . Nice and warm. Very cosy. Perfect place to stay. Would be nice to have some twinkle lights around cabin or fencing. It would have also been nice to have a Christmas tree to make it extra festive.

Cons: It was next to a railway so the trains were going past until late.

Pros: Dunroamin lodge was spotless clean on arrival .Clean bedding fluffy towels .All the equipment you would need in the kitchen .Comfortable lodge would highly recommend to family and friends .Owners sent details to check in get access to the lodge for self check in .Near to Avimore for all the shops and attractions .Beautiful area we had a lovely break thankyou .

Cons: When booked we didnt realise lodge was backing onto railway line but it didnt disturb us too much.

Pros: Lovely lodge in a great location near the town. Very clean and comfortable.

Cons: Maybe we're just not the best with gas ovens/hobs but we never managed to turn it on so it was a microwaved pizza kind of weekend!
