Lodge 2 The Wee Hut Aviemore

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Pros: Everything was as the description. Very cosy and comfortable. Great location, 5 mins from nearest pub / restaurant and close enough to Aviemore town centre and all the facilities.

Pros: The Lodge is set in a nice quiet part of the site, own parking space a short walk away and near to the onsite pub. Lovely and quiet, yet close to other eateries and the Town Centre where you can find shops and take aways etc. Loved the Old Bridge Inn as a place to eat and drink, huge outdoor space and lovely food. Bit expensive but then it is a tourist location.

Cons: The Wifi did not work in the lodge, owners did advise us a day before we left for the trip so we were sighted. Not ideal but if your phones internet works then it took away that issue. Hopefully they will get this fixed. The onsite pub was supposed to serve food and drink, they have recently stopped serving food. So this should be noted for the site owners to update on their page, nearest place is the Old Bridge Inn, a few minutes walk away, but expensive if you eat there every night - so make use of the lodges cooking facilities to keep the cost down.

Lovely place but lack of WiFi was underestimated and underplayed by the hosts

Heatwave Weekend!

Pros: Lovely accommodation, well equipped and very clean. Great to have 2 shower rooms. Located in a quiet corner of the site.

Cons: Everything was fine but it would be good to be able to park right beside the lodge. Unfortunately access to other lodges prevents this. (There is a dedicated parking space nearby).

An exceptional spacious wee property…a wonderful home from home will certainly book again.

Pros: Spacious , well equipped and very well presented an excellent base for exploring the area. Cannot fault it at all.

Totally Relaxing

Pros: Everything you could possible need, very cosy and comfy. Shower is better than the one I have at home. Very quiet and relaxing spot, no dogs barking all day which is a bonus :-)

Cons: Like everything in Aviemore, very expensive to stay here
