A gem of a place for a relaxing break in Inverness

Pros: What a find this place is. Fabulous location for Inverness and the range of tours to Loch Ness and beyond. Park up your car and you can walk everywhere. The guest house is spotlessly clean and the rooms comfortable. We had the four poster room and the mattress was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The Highland breakfast is a must. It kept me going all day until dinner. Lovely fresh ingredients. And the hosts are welcoming and very helpful. Will be our first choice for any future visits to the area.

Magical!

Pros: From the moment we arrived we were absolutely entranced by the location, the welcome, our room and all the surrounds. It was magical! The staff made us feel so welcome and made us feel at home. The restaurant is 5 star! Delicious meals were served in a beautiful dining room.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Pros: Great location for easy access to city centre. Our room was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the breakfast selection.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit small but given the age of the house this wasn’t unexpected.

Outstanding value for money, brilliant location and service beyond service!

Pros: Everything was excellent. The period building from 1868 was outstanding, the location, the breakfast, but most importantly I met the owners Andrea and Grant who have now become my friends:). I thought they had an automatic door on arrival, but Andrea opened the door and said you must be........ After that short welcome, I felt like royalty!

Bed comfortable, nice hot shower and excellent cooked breakfast.

Pros: Another lovely stay. Hostess is friendly and welcoming. Noticed the new addition to the room I stayed in and enjoyed a wee chuckle! Hopefully other guests will appreciate the new addition too…! :)

Lovely bed\u0026breakfast in Inverness with attention to detail

Pros: I loved my stay at Ardmeanach house! It’s beautifully located across the river and only a couple of minutes walk away from the city centre. The room was really comfortable and cosy with a lot of attention to detail. Andrea, the host, was really lovely and helpful and made me feel welcome! Breakfast was made freshly every morning and had very traditional but also vegetarian friendly options. The house was quiet and located in a beautiful part of the city. I felt really at home during my stay and can only recommend it :).

Pros: Felt so welcome ... Amazing stay, the grounds and building is just exceptional. Quiet and tranquil, slept with the windows open to the sound of the birds and nothing else. So peaceful. The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept on. (Four poster room) The room was immaculate so clean. Hosts were so accommodating and pleasant. Even rescued me with a steamer for my creased dress. We will definetly be staying here when we visit family up in Inverness. Thanks again ❤️
