Lovely, homely place to stay, with friendly and attentive host.

Pros: Really friendly host, delicious breakfast and lots of thoughtful extra touches (e.g. home baking and a dram to welcome you).

Cons: Nothing really. I was in the single room, which has a separate (but exclusive use) bathroom. In an ideal world the bathroom would have been next to the single room (rather than at the opposite of the same floor), but that’s just a very minor inconvenience.

Perfect stay

Pros: The house is beautiful and the host was very friendly and helpful, our room was light and comfortable, lovely touches with bathrobes and slippers and even a dram of Malt. Breakfast we had a fried breakfast which was great and there is a great selection of cereal and fresh fruit. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning again.

Pros: Lovely place with a warm welcome from Alison. Room was very comfortable with some nice touches and the breakfast was first class and good quality. Nice location for everything as well made it a great stay.

Pros: Alison was very welcoming, warm and helpful. It felt like going to stay with a friend. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated with lots of added extras. The wee nip of Jura single malt was welcome after a long drive. Everything you could ask for and more in a room for the night, so many thoughtful touches. So clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast excellent, fruit cereals yoghurt etc and then full cooked plateful on top of that. Fantastic value for money, we will definitely be going back.

Perfect!

Pros: This B\u0026B is clearly a labour of love. It doesn’t just tick all the boxes you would hope for in a good B\u0026B (clean, comfortable, good food). But every last detail has been thought through and a lot of extras have been provided to make the stay as comfortable and homely as possible. The owner is very friendly and you can tell that she enjoys running the B\u0026B. I would definitely visit again.

Cons: In some rooms you can hear the road. Very thoughtfully, ear plugs had been provided in case someone was a very light sleeper. It wasn’t a problem for me and my partner, as the road gets very little traffic during the night and we didn’t need the ear plugs. But someone who likes an early night and is very sensitive to noise might like to ask for a room at the back.

Excellent stay

Pros: Perfect in every way. Friendly, comfortable, special little touches of home made biscuit and a small dram to welcome us. Room excellent. Breakfast was lovely too. Would return in a heartbeat.
