The Den

Pros: Location was great hosts were exceptional, overall very happy with the stay.

Cons: The only issue I had was the wifi wasn’t great.

Pros: If you're looking for peace and quiet, The Den is the perfect retreat. Nestled close to Inverness and surrounded by stunning attractions, it's an ideal base for exploring the Highlands. After a day of sightseeing, there's nothing better than unwinding under the starry sky in the private jacuzzi — pure bliss. The hosts are incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to suggest great places to visit nearby. Their hospitality truly makes the stay special. A lovely bonus? Fresh eggs from their own hens for breakfast — a delicious and wholesome start to the day. Highly recommended for anyone seeking relaxation, nature, and a touch of Highland charm.

Pros: Amazing location, the hosts were so friendly, there are facilities to cook, plenty of room to park and extra heaters which is great if you are there in the winter.

Cons: I don't really have complaints, just things others should be aware of - To get to the bathroom you have to go through the bedroom, which is really only a problem if someone is in there sleeping or needs privacy. The shower is quite small. Great to have facilities to wash clothes but there was mould in the washing machine

This was exactly what we were looking for! Wish we spent more than just two nights!

Pros: The quietness of the area, the great hospitality of the host, the character of the property, and the gardens. The children fell in love with the chickens!

Cons: Nothing wrong! It was a perfect stay!

Pros: The beds were comfortable, excellent facilities and little extras. Shower was great. Surroundings were beautiful, loved sitting outside on the porch in the morning with our coffee. Most of all the owners were really friendly and great at corresponding which was really appreciated

The small apartment that you need!

Pros: Amazing location in a super quite position in the countryside but at only 15 minutes to Inverness by car. The apartment is perfectly cleaned and well equipped.

Cons: Very small apartment perfect for 1 or 2 nights.

Accomodation at The Den

Pros: It is situated just a 15 minute drive from Inverness and is in a very quiet area. The 'apartment ' is very quaint and exceptionally clean. The kitchenette is very well equipped and sleeping areas very comfortable and cosy. Owners are very friendly and helpful and they made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this accomodation.

Pros: The place was really clean and comfortable. The host was also really friendly and helpful. The place was great for travelling around the Highlands.

Beautiful home in the hills

Pros: Absolutely clean and cozy property and makes you feel at home immediately

Cons: Not really dislike, but one has to be careful of banging heads on the side of the walls because it’s actually built in an attic.
