The Wee Knoll is a Wee Beauty!

Pros: Beautifully appointed and cozy. You could simply sit on the sofa and watch the landscape and scenery changing with the weather. Better than any television show (though I may have been lucky with the weather). Suitable for a single traveller or a couple, it encourages you to just wind down, disconnect and simply breathe again. So much to explore within this region of the West Highlands. Loved it!

Pros: Absolutely wonderful! It is the cutest cottage you can imagine. The comfort, the decor, the surrounds, just so perfect. Comfortable bed, bathroom, clever little kitchenette with lots of treats to share.

Absolut traumhaft

Pros: Es war einfach traumhaft. Diese süße kleine Hütte hat alles, was man braucht und ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Auch im Winter war die Übernachtung in der Hütte dank Heizung gar kein Problem. Auch Catherine die Gastgeberin war super freundlich und stets erreichbar. Als wir durch einen plötzlichen Schneeeinbruch das Auto am Hügelanfang stehen lassen mussten, bot sie uns direkt an, uns bei Abreise mit ihrem Auto nach unten zu fahren.

Cons: Nichts. Es war wunderbar! Nur als Hinweise: 1. Die Hütte ist wirklich nur für zwei Personen ausgelegt. Sämtliches Geschirr, etc. gibt es nur in zweifacher Ausführung. 2. Die Hütte liegt auf dem Gipfel eines kleinen Hügels (ca. 20-30 Minuten zu Fuß zum nächsten Ort, 10-15 Minuten zum nächsten Restaurant) sehr idyllisch mit wenig umliegender Infrastruktur. Ohne Auto ist sie also eher schwer erreichbar. Im Winter empfehlen sich außerdem Winterreifen, sollte es wie bei uns schneien, da der Weg nicht geräumt wurde.
