Pros: Everything was first class and although expensive, it was worth the money. We would stay again.

Pros: The apartament was really spacious, warm, comfortable, very well equipped. Easy access to swimming pool, sauna, steamroom. My sons enjoyed playing table tennis, jazzminton and pool in the evening. The building itself is amazing and full of history. We all had a really relaxing and comfortable stay. I would recommend that place a lot! Beautiful views, lots to see around.

Pros: Everything was so lovely we felt we were really getting a taste of Scotland The inclusive facilities

Cons: The stairs Three floors up were a challenge

Pros: The property was beautifully furnished with everything we required for a five night stay. The beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. The on-site facilities were fantastic and well managed. Fantastic location on the shores of Loch Ness and in the heart of Fort Augustus. Lots to do in the surrounding area for families.

Cons: Due to the top floor location of this apartment the windows only open a fraction and we were too warm on many occasions. Fans should be provided because it was uncomfortable especially when cooking in the open plan kitchen. All doors including internal ones are fire doors. I understand the reason for this but the doors were too heavy for my children to open meaning that they would have been locked in their bedrooms at night if we hadn’t used a chair to prop the door open. This also meant my children couldn’t use the bathroom independently. The weight of the fire doors also meant my youngest almost trapped her fingers on a few occasions. I noticed the kitchen door had a quick release stopper on it. This should be the case on all the doors.

Loved our stay. Would definitely consider returning.

Pros: Beautiful location. Fantastic building to stay in. Enjoyed the facilities on offer (swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis and lounge area). Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Plenty to do nearby.

Cons: Surface of tennis court is a bit uneven. We were just playing for fun, but some people might find this annoying. Lounge was a bit dark (even with all the lights on).

Lovely property

Pros: Excellent place to spend the week. The building and facilities are great and the location is excellent. We really enjoyed the pool area and steam room. Great for families as it has indoor activities if the weather is bad. Would recommend Beaufort House Pizza. Book in advance!

Cons: It's on the 3rd floor which wasn't a problem for us, but worth knowing if that's an issue for you. The apartment is in the eaves of the building and only has a couple of windows. This was ok, but I wouldn't want to stay there in hot weather.

Pros: Communication with hosts was easy. Location was perfect. Really appreciated the tour at the beginning of our stay. Lots of sweet little touches in the apartment like cookies and milk.

Lujo en Lago Ness

Pros: Jo ha sido encantadora con nosotros. El alojamiento está en una tercera planta sin ascensor, pero ya lo sabíamos al reservar. El apartamento se ubica en un complejo privado de lujo. Está la cocina súper equipada y limpia. Las toallas son muy suaves con olor a limpio. La piscina interior es muy chula y merece la pena ir.

Cons: La gestión de las basuras. Los contenedores están sucios y tienes que abrirlos con un candado de bici y da asco poner las manos para abrirlos.

What a great place to stay. Roomy, comfortable rooms in an amazing building in a great location

Pros: Amazing historical building and the pool and sauna were a bonus. Very nicely appointed rooms. Also the location was a perfect base for getting out and seeing the sights.

Cons: The only downside was that I wish the lighting was brighter.
