Wonderful relaximg getaway.

Pros: Apartment and locatoon excellent. Facilities and local services very good too.

Cons: Nothing springs to mind.

An amazing place to stay in a stunning location.

Pros: The building is exceptional and the apartment was very comfortable and clean. There was a lot of information to help plan our stay. You have to book your our pool time which was not an issue. The sauna and steam room were also great. The games room and grounds are amazing and the atmosphere around the place was very pleasant. The kitchen was very well equipped. It was a great place to spend New Years week.

Cons: Nothing it was amazing

Building is magnificent as are the facilities. Our first Christmas away from home and it was glorious.

Pros: We were here over the Christmas period but had everything we needed. Nice touch to have a Christmas tree in the flat. Pool was fabulous but sadly closed over the actual Christmas period so only got to use it once.

Cons: The only thing we didn’t like was the shower room. No heating whatsoever so absolutely freezing in December!

Beautiful and relaxing

Pros: Beautiful old building in a fantastic location. Good sized apartment for a group, beautifully decorated and very comfy. Enjoyed the games room and grounds. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance while still feeling like a quiet country location.

Cons: Took us a while to figure out how to get the toilets to flush properly. Main bedroom was a bit of a squeeze because the bed is so big.

Wonderful resort with excellent facilities.

Pros: Very comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty space for us and the location is amazing. We really enjoyed all the facilities.

Cons: Very minor but the mugs were very small! Hard to fault anything.

A great place to explore Fort Augustus

Pros: The property had good facilities such as the swimming pool, table tennis and snooker. The grounds were beautiful, right on Loch Ness and a couple of minutes walk from the main part of Fort Augustus. The bottle of wine and goodies on arrival were much appreciated. The apartment was quiet and felt comfortable.

Cons: The mugs in the apartment were way too small, couldn't have a proper cup of tea in them. There was a lot of pressure to provide a specific check in time which is hard when you're travelling with a toddler. The booking system needs looking at as people will book and not turn up, my husband tried to book the gym but it said it was full, he went to check it out anyway and it was empty.

Would strongly recommend this accommodation. Great location and so much history associated with this property

Pros: We stayed in the Old School House in a two bedroom apartment Very happy with the accommodation. Bottle of wine, biscuits and milk on arrival. Clean and exceptionally well equipped kitchen.

Cons: Everything was great

Pros: We loved our apartment. Very comfortable and had everything we needed

Cons: Nothing really. Floorboards from apartment above we noisy sometimes, but that's to be expected in an old building.

Great location

Pros: Pool was great, grounds were lovely and gave access to the town . Also access to the Loch for paddle boarding. Apartment was comfy, beds super comfortable.

Cons: The corridor to the apartment itself was a bit utilitarian, like student accommodation. Also, every door in the apartment being a fire door was tricky as small children could not open these, so risked being shut in rooms - but guess these are a legal requirement.

Lovley place..would stay again no problem.

Pros: The flat was lovely and in a perfect spot…easy acces to Fort Augustus, and had all we needed.

Cons: We didn’t like the heavy fire doors all over the flat, and no door stoppers,except for one flimsy one.Also the door knobs were quite hard to turn, would have been better with door handles, especially for an elderly person, struggling to open doors.
