Entire flat in Banchory

Lovely apartment in a great location - just our above comments let it down.

Pros: Asked if we could book in early and that was no problem.

Cons: In the listing for the property I noticed there was no dining table, but when I read the list of things it said dining table and chairs in the kitchen. The first thing I noticed on arrival was that there was just a narrow, tall, bar table in the living room with 2 stools. My husband and I like to eat at a table and the narrow table had hardly room for 2 plates. The living room was large with 2 settees, so there could be room for a table and chairs. For this reason alone, we won’t return. When we find a property we like we usually return to it once or twice a year.

Cons: Parking always found a place but carpark difficult to access with a large car

Pros: Excellent accommodation located in the centre of Banchory, balcony included. Perfect for long-term as well as short stays. Tastefully decorated, spacious, very comfortable and homely (all rooms) and spotlessly clean. Modern kitchen well equipped and fitted out with everything you need. Great views, pubs, shops, cafes and supermarket all within a very short walking distance. Personal car parking available in basement which is a bonus as well as the high functioning WiFi. Lynda, the manageress, was extremely helpful with a personal and charming key hand-over explaining how everything worked. Excellent communication with Duncan, the director. Best I've ever stayed at in Banchory. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, this time and on previous occasions.

Pros: This was an outstanding property in every way possible. We didn’t want to leave and will most definitely be back for more! Every single detail was so well thought out. The property was immaculate and the comfiest bed ever!

Fabulous apartment, highly recommended

Pros: Pleasant location, near High St and shops. Leisurely stroll to local beauty spots and scenic routes for driving. Fabulous welcome from Lynda, who was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Very informative about the area. Duncan was fantastically responsive to our messages and queries before our arrival too. All in all, it was a wonderful short break when attending a family wedding nearby and will definitely stay again. The apartment is modern with a fully equipped kitchen - everything very clean and in working order. Very comfortable sofas and bed with lots of space throughout.

Cons: There wasn't anything to not like. I'd suggest a couple of hanging hooks on the bathroom door for dressing gowns possibly and maybe fewer room fresheners, but that's personal preference as I have asthma and the scent can trigger it. Easily sorted by placing the fresheners outside and opening the windows.

Excellent accommodation!

Pros: Excelent location - perfect for the castle trail (I wish to have stayed longer!). Large, comfortable, bright and modern apartment.
