Great property in a brilliant location. Enjoyed our stay and will return.

Pros: Great location with shops, bars and restaurants all in walking distance. Property was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Dog friendly too! Communication from host was excellent. We will return.

Very pleasant and quiet location.

Pros: Great location. Just outside Aviemore town centre, far enough away to be quiet, but close enough for access to shops / restaurants etc. Site was very tidy with very little noise. There is railway line just behind the property, but trains are infrequent and do not run late at night. Lovely to see many mallard ducks wandering around the grounds. Host responded instantly to any queries.

Cons: Nothing of note to warrant a complaint. A teapot / coffee pot would have been handy, but we had our own with us anyway as part of our usual picnic supplies!

Beautiful property in an excellent location for walking into Aviemore

Pros: Beautiful caravan with everything you would need for a short break. Very comfortable and the little extras made it more special. Wendy was super helpful when we requested additional linen for the pull out bed and delivered it the same evening after finishing work.

Cons: Caravan and facilities were superb. Only issue was that we were unaware that there was only space for one car by the van, so perhaps this could be clarified on the details. Also, the bunk beds in the second bedroom are cute, but too small for adults. Perhaps mention in the property details that there is a pull out bed for those too big to fit😊

Perfect stay in Aviemore

Pros: Location, cleanliness and host all perfect! Bike storage in locked shed adjoining the property was great for mountain bikes. Beds comfortable and shower pressure great. Host Wendy couldn’t be more helpful and community flawless. Thank you Mountain Retreat, a wonderful stay :)

Pros: Friendly, quiet and very comfy. Had 2 grandchildren (8 \u0026 6) with us and they had a really good time. Near to everything we needed but not in a busy setting and very clean. Many thanks

Pros: Aviemore is a perfect place to enjoy nature and gives a lot of options for outdoor activities. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The caravan we stayed in had everything we needed. It was very nice and cosy.
