Dog friendly and affordable

Pros: Lovely, affordable, dog friendly space in the heart of the Cairngorms. Good size bath for a soak after a day out walking, and lots of room space. Easy self check in and Co-op just round the corner for supplies.

Single traveller

Pros: Room was good for a single traveller. Warm and the bed was comfortable, coffee maker was good. Situated in the town with a couple minutes to all shops and bars

Cons: Room 3 shower was not very powerful, acceptable but not great. Little bit of external noise from the pub courtyard outside the window, but not enough to bea major problem

Lovely room. Great location

Pros: Clean and tidy room. Bed was comfy and perfect for the nights stay. Right in the centre of Ballater so great for dinner etc. Good information on area and surroundings sent by owner.

Brilliant spot for a getaway or a base to explore

Pros: Brilliant staff, helpful and friendly welcome. Bed was so comfortable facilities in the room were excellent, so quiet and no noise through the night. Love this place and would highly recommend.

Cons: Being picky, the shower cubicle is a bit small. There's no food option, BUT this isn't a problem for us as we had dinner elsewhere and breakfast on the go.
