UHI Inverness - Campus Accommodation

Excellent student studio at an affordable price

Pros: I had a self contained studio for a week and I found it amazing. Very spacious, fully equipped kitchenette, desk for work or study, comfy bed and a really clean bathroom. Bed linen and towel provided, don’t forget to bring your toiletries or buy them in Tesco nearby. Staff were very nice and helpful. Retail stores and dining opportunities are within walking distance, however, getting into the city centre by public transport is something you need to prepare for. If you use the bus stop at the retail park, you can get to the centre quicker. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Pros: A warm place with nice hot shower, clean bedding and towels. Lovely and friendly staff.

Cons: Not easy to find the reception at first. Bed was a bit small for 2 people.

Good accommodation, location and price

Pros: Location was good, accommodation was clean and comfortable and on good public transport link. Reasonable price. Staff (on arrival) was very friendly and helpful

Cons: Downside was the heat in the accommodation which was very uncomfortable

Pros: Good clean and comfortable accomadation but basic. If you just want somewhere to put your head down at night is perfect. Great value especially for August. Staff really helpful and friendly. Would stay again.

All in all, I was quite pleased with it

Pros: If you’ve never lived in student halls, this gives you a brilliant chance to experience what it’s like. On the plus side - great value for money, the shared kitchen’s really well kitted out with everything you need: oven, kettle, microwave, iron, ironing board, everything in the room is brand new, and there’s parking.

Cons: Downsides - no hairdryer, soap or shampoo provided in the room. You can’t control the room temperature, but it was nice and warm rather than chilly, which is actually a good thing. All in all, I was quite pleased with it.

Good value

Pros: The accommodation was as expected and the staff very helpful

Cons: Location was a bit far from the city centre . Information about which buses go from city centre to the campus would be helpful.

Convenient and comfortable student accommodation.

Pros: great kitchen facilities with all the options Microwave, Oven, and hob. All clean and tidy.

Cons: Air con in room, very warm during stay, there was a fan but it just moved hot air around.

Pros: Wonderful location the studio was equipped with a kitchen and fridge

Awesome.

Pros: It was a great affordable place to stay slightly away from the city but close enough to easily take a bus in.

Cons: No sheets and toiletries (outside of toilet paper) were provided.

On campus which is great.

Pros: Convenient location. Good value. Nice location on campus, quiet.

Cons: No glass for a drink of water or tea/coffee facilities available. Bit hot in bedroom.
