The High Croft

Absolutely Superb! The best there is!

Pros: We had an excellent one-night stay at this fabulous self-catering accommodation. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The bed was very comfortable, and the little extra touches made it feel welcoming and homely. Communication from the host was excellent throughout, meeting us to greet us personally and show us into the accommodation. High Croft was the most amazing place in which we stayed at during our week away travelling around the coast. Excellent doesn't quite match the superb quality of the place! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and very highly recommend it to others.

Pros: Lovely and cosy property in a quiet spot. Hosts were very accommodating and gave great information with directions to the property which really helped

Just a wonderful experience

Pros: Everything I wanted in a property, clean, spacious and beautifully located in a quiet town! Oh and the animals were the cherry on top for me!

Pros: Loved the location, the cozy accommodation and use of space! Lovely animals and the owners are so kind and helpful!

Cons: It’s hard to find things not to like but the things worth pointing out or knowing beforehand is that the fridge is a small one, the one bed (double) is quite squeaky and the entrance is shared. None of these are really “issues” just something to be aware of!

Lovely peaceful self contained place dog friendly

Pros: Wonderful two bed place above owners living quarters full with all the amenities needed for a self contained holiday with the bonus of awesome views of mountains in a beautiful Barron area, has a few chickens running around and dogs but all very friendly great host very welcoming and helpful plenty of walking facilities and a spar shop in the nearest town

Perfect remote hideaway

Pros: We loved how remote it was. We were looking for a quiet few nights to get away from the fireworks and this was exactly that, the only noise we hear throughout our trip was the chickens. Great set up. Hosts were helpful and there is you needed anything. House was as described, clean and cosy.

Cons: The downstairs bed was very squeaky but it wouldn't put me off staying again.

Pros: The place is magical. The owner is fantastic. I wholeheartedly give it 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful time.
