Pros: Clean and high-spec interior. 12,000 acres to explore. We cycled, swam and used the paddle boards all available for no extra charge. Dog-friendly!

It took us completely by surprise.

Pros: The property completely surprised us. It's much bigger than we thought. It's very well maintained, there is a lot to discover, free bicycles, a gym, a sports hall and much more. The staff are also wonderful! Our stay was simply incredible!

Cons: Everything was just great!

A peaceful idyllic place to stay.

Pros: This was our fourth stay in the Cartshed, it’s becoming a home from home. Such a lovely place to stay and you are free to roam a very large private estate (much appreciated by our dog) including the beautiful formal gardens of the castle. With all the amenities provided (gym, bicycles, loch and river fishing, archery, rowing boat) you could spend your holiday just in the grounds of the estate but if you also want a base for touring there is plenty of beautiful coastal and highland scenery to explore. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming too, it ticks all the boxes for us and we are already planning on returning again next year.

Cons: The hot water system was quirky - overnight heating only I think- and we didn’t realise we needed to recharge it if we used up the hot water

prachtige locatie

Pros: Prachtig landgoed waar je je bijna privé op begeeft (met totaal 5? huisjes). met talloze mogelijkheden voor (sportieve) activiteiten. Fietsen zijn zo te pakken, wandelen, pizza-oven. en dat allemaal op 100 m van een prachtig imponerend kasteel en indrukwekkende tuin. behulpzame Tony die hete complex verzorgt. bizar grote gymzaal, waar je allerlei sporten kunt beoefenen. Het huisje is luxe ingericht, warm. 2 ligbaden. alles in de keuken wat je nodig hebt. we hebben nauwelijks de omgeving verkend omdat het landgoed al genoeg ervaringen te bieden had. oplader voor elektrische auto aanwezig.

Cons: Ik kan echt niets bedenken.

Pros: Le lieu est splendide! Nous avons pu faire du vélo, badminton, billard. Le personnel était au top et super gentil. Nous étions dans un petit cottage charmant et nous étions comme à la maison. A sweet home 😍

Cons: Rien et nous y retournerons sûrement!

Echt een vakantie voor iedereen, klassiek maar helemaal van deze tijd!

Pros: Warme ontvangst en gastvrije mensen. Prachtig landgoed met ontelbaar veel mogelijkheden voor elke leeftijd. Fietsen in elke maat gratis te gebruiken. Sporten binnen en buiten. Heerlijk genieten van de schone en verzorgde tuinen en accommodatie met zijn allen. Uitgebreide keukeninventaris, fijne badkamers! Meer dan genoeg ruimte voor 8 personen. Mooie stijl en inrichting. Zeker de moeite waard om wéér eens te boeken! Wij hebben genoten, van 3 tot 63 jaar :-)

Pros: Le domaine est incroyable nous avons tout apprécié. Le personnel extrêmement sympa et la sécurité qui nous accompagne au logement. Lieu magnifique

Soggiorno entusiasmante e rilassante

Pros: Appartamento su due livelli e giardino privato, con una zona giorno al piano terra dotata anche di bagno e una zona notte al piano primo anch'essa con bagno. Biancheria e dotazioni ottime con accappatoi, salviette, prodotti per lavarsi, detersivi e ciabatte monouso. Un appartamento grande e dotato di ogni comfort. Biciclette a disposizione per visitare l'immenso parco privato, area comune con palestra e tante altre attività. Personale sempre disponibile e gentile. Posto isolato nel nulla ma era quello che volevamo. Punto strategigo per girare le Highland.
