Was difficult to pack and leave, to be honest.

Pros: The house was so well equipped and the owners/rental agency had put so much effort into detail. It really felt like home for a week. There were fresh flowers on arrival, a welcome basket with some goodies… The grounds and garden were huge and immaculately kept. Just perfect.

Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.

New Benchmark

Pros: I don’t think I have ever found such a wonderful place to stay before. Be sure to visit the secret garden. This is my new benchmark.

Pros: Cosy, well-kept, spacious, \u0026 clean home. Perfect for our travelling party (4 adults, 2 kids 2 \u0026 under.) Travel cots provided - and Erin \u0026 Nick went the extra mile to source an extra one so that there were 2 available for when we arrived. Fantastic communication ahead of our stay too, and welcome to receive and answer any questions/queries/requests. Great location close to the A9 and handy to get to everything we wanted to do during our short stay in Inverness. Whatever amenities you could wish to have during your stay, it was there. Plenty of space for the kids to explore and totter and play, they loved it. Would definitely use again in future.

Perfect getaway home with all you need

Pros: Really lovely place, good heating. Lots of amenities in the kitchen and utility room. Good size dining table and a cosy area near the kitchen, plus extra big dining table and loads more seating in the lounge. We tried the log fire but it wasn't necessary and in fact, could have managed with just the kitchen area that was so nice. We met the owner who was really lovely, friendly and helpful.

Cons: A bit in the middle of nowhere, so a drive into Inverness for shopping and papers but a good location for visiting places of interest.

Pros: Beautiful house in a stunning setting. Everything a family needs for a relaxing holiday exploring the Scottish Highlands.

Pros: Longfield was an exceptional property.We absolutely loved it.Would highly recommended.Owner has thought of everything you could possibly need on a family holiday.The decor was so fitting for the style of the house and so comfortable.The outside space so well maintained and equipped to entertain children and adults.We actually wanted to spend as much time in Longfield as we could rather than going out and about-it was so peaceful. 10 out of 10 from us!
