An amazing place close to Invernesd

Pros: We ( family of 6 and a baby) had a great time there. Everything was perfect: location, very clean and equiped rooms and kitchen will all you need, a massive garden with great view, plenty of space for 6 adults and a baby, plenty of space for 2 cars, a great game room. There is so much to see in the area. You need a car but there are also lovely scenic walks you can do from the house The hosts were very helpful indeed and communication was very quick.

Pros: The Secret Garden was perfect for our needs -nice large bedrooms with lots of little extra touches provided. Lovely and warm as you stepped in through the door and ample hot water and lovely bathrooms. The grounds are so beautiful and to be able to wander in the woodlands and paddocks as if they were your own was the highlight for us. We were made to feel so welcome and left to come and go as we pleased. It is rural and I did have concerns about the lanes but Alasdair provided plenty of info and directions so it really wasn't an issue and so well sign-posted you can't go wrong. This really is a special place to stay - we drew the curtains to find deer in the back garden . 4 nights really wasn't enough to enjoy all that's on offer -Thank you for sharing your beautiful home .

Pros: We self catered, though some food was provided. The location was in the country, and nice and quiet.

Was good all bedrooms were separate so was nice and quiet within house

Pros: I liked the beautiful garden and the quiet location

Cons: I felt the kitchen dinner was a bit crowded and felt like wanted to rearrange the furniture but that was just my ocd kicking all in all was good for our family group

Beautiful setting and wonderful accommodations.

Pros: What a stunning setting! The drive through the woods and countryside ended at a lovely property. The garden was beautiful and the grounds were spectacular. We loved the layout…traveling with our adult daughter, it was great to have the bedroom, wings separated by the living dining kitchen area. The couches and chairs were comfortable. The kitchen was wonderful. Deidre even provided a larger casserole dish when we decided to cook in. I was particularly appreciative of the electrical outlets everywhere and the provided electrical hair care items. Beds were super comfy and linens were very good. All in all, we were very, very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it.

Cons: So very little to not like! Perhaps the owner could provide a short written instruction sheet for the stove and oven. Also, additional information about how the front door lock worked.

Pros: Cottage très spacieux, très bien équipé décoré avec goût, dans cadre super agréable, au calme et très proche d Inverness. Accueil vraiment sympathique des propriétaires, très attentionnés. Nous avons passé un super moment en famille.

Cons: Rien, tout était parfait pour nous.

Heerlijk verblijf in een mooie natuurlijke omgeving

Pros: Het is echt een schitterende plek in een mooie natuurlijke omgeving, vlakbij o.a. het meer van Loch Ness. Wel iets afgelegen van de voorzieningen/winkels (ca. 10 minuten rijden), maar dat was voor ons geen probleem. De eigenaren hebben er een paradijsje neergezet met een nette, schone en ruime woon - en slaapvertrek (woon/eetkamer, 3 ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers) . Ook is er een ruime speelruimte met dartbord, pooltafel, tafelvoetbal, spelletjes, boeken enz). Je hoeft je ook op deze locatie niet te vervelen als je een dagje even niet de deur uit wilt. De kinderen vonden het heerlijk om te poolen en te darten. Vergeet vooral ook niet om de tips over bezienswaardigheden op te vragen bij de eigenaar. Hij weet vaal van de omgeving af en verteld er dan ook graag over. Wij zijn op plekken geweest, die we anders niet hadden aangedaan.
