A perfect base for exploring locally and further afield, with every possible comfort.

Pros: The location of the bothy was perfect, with easy access to walks and to the town on the doorstep. We were also close to everything we wanted to do in the local area. Our hosts were also very welcoming and helpful. The bothy was beautifully decorated and furnished too, with everything you needed for a short stay. It felt like a real home from home.

Cons: Nothing! It was absolutely perfect.

Pros: Excellent. Everything you needed was in the property. The location was convenient to travel further afield. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Perfect accommodation in a perfect location!

Pros: Perfect location , much bigger than the photos depict. Perfect temperature, excellent shower and literally had everything we needed for our stay. Karen was an excellent host and provided us with lots of super recommendations. Outstanding walks literally on your doorstep, plus 5 minutes to local pubs , cafes and shops. Our dogs were also made to feel welcome and had an enclosed space to be kept safe. Do not hesitate to book this place!

A lovely wee studio in a good location with good parking.

Pros: Comfortable and good location which was dog friendly.

Cons: The fridge was constantly wet despite closing the freezer compartment as instructed in the fridge.

Pros: Very nice hosts. Very clean. Really great: we were surprised upon arrival with homemade bread, coffee from a local roastery, and treats for our dog. Highly recommended.

Pros: Lovely little house, really nice kitchen, secure enclosed outdoor space for the dog and really great information from the owners about the bothy and local area. Is bigger than it looks in the photos! They also left us some essentials which was great for a 3 night stay.

Pros: The Bothy was fantastic and a perfect fit for us and our cockapoo , thanks for the freshly baked bread , milk and coffee it was much appreciated , everything inside is high quality and spacious, it’s also a 2 minute walk from all the local amenities of Grantown and a short drive for Aviemore and local whisky distillery’s The Cairn and Tomatin. We will definitely be passing this place onto friends and family for future use.

Cosy and comfy bothy in excellent location

Pros: Wonderful cosy getaway - was exactly what we were after. Excellent heating, comfy sofa and living area. The bothy was set up really well to maximise space and not feel cramped. Lovely bread, coffee, milk and biscuits provided as a welcome pack. Hosts were easy to get in touch with. Nice little outdoor area for the dog with beautiful woodland walks 5 minutes away on foot.
