Just what I desired for my family trip. Amazing host and a pretty cottage

Pros: The location was perfect for a peaceful family getaway. It was quiet all around and that's what I needed for a short family break. The beaches and attractions were a short drive away. You could get to Inverness in just about an hour on car. There was a huge Tesco less than 2 miles away so you are never short of grocery which is a relief, as it is a self-catering cottage. The host was an amazing gentleman who welcomed us warmly and was helpful throughout ur stay. He even gave useful recommendations for places to visit and traveling routes. Beds were all comfy, plenty of board games and toys for kids was a good touch. Size of accommodation and the area outside is definitely more than adequate for people who want to walk around and relax without leaving accommodation. There is good range of kitchen accessories and stove works brilliant. Moreover there is place to park your car securely.

Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike. Can't find any fault with the property or the host.

A very pleasant stay

Pros: We found the Granary well equipped, clean, spacious and homely. The beds were large and comfy. Ideally situated for touring the Moray coastline and following the whisky trail!

Fabulous spot on the Moray Firth coast of Scotland!

Pros: The Granary is just stunning - a perfect mix of traditional and modern. It's bright and spacious - and very well appointed. There was nothing we needed that wasn't to hand. So many great extra touches. Definitely the biggest beds we have slept in in Scotland.

Cons: - figuring out which timer switch is responsible for which lighting has somewhat overwhelmed us. And the lack of an option to switch the light on in the upstairs bathroom during the daytime (at least we didn't find one) spoiled the enjoyment of our stay a bit, - the WiFi signal in the upstairs bedroom (the one directly above the kitchen) slightly too weak for our liking, - the method of covering roof windows with a plywood/hardboard piece with handle cries out for a modern upgrade ;)
