Great stay for a night

Pros: Squeaky clean; super comfortable bed; view from the window amazing. Warm at night, and the room had all the amenities you would need for a short stay.

Cons: It would not take much effort to specify that the bathroom is not en-suite, but outside the room. It was okay, because we only stayed one night, but I would have not appreciated it, if I had to stay longer. Quite misleading.

A beautiful guest home to stay

Pros: What an amazing find . A lovely home with a great room no 1 . A fabulous size with all the amenities you need including a wee dram of whiskey which was a lovely touch . En suite was immaculate . And the host was amazing , so accommodating when we were having problems with the running of the ferry . Would definitely recommend

Excellent.

Pros: This was an unexpected, last-minute stay after we missed the ferry crossing to Stornoway due to adverse weather conditions. We felt bad about our late arrival, but Ayesha came to check we were okay and similarly gave advice and reassurance before we left in the morning. Lovely, cosy accommodation- just what we needed!

Cons: Nothing to mention at all.

Good for a short overnight stay

Pros: Cosy guesthouse with a big room, tidy and warm The view from the room was very nice too.

Cons: Security could be a bit improved. We are told that it is self-check in, and didn’t get to see anyone who works here. Despite that it wasn’t a busy season, there was technically no locks at the entrance, and the key was just hanging on the door of the room. There was another person staying in the next room, I felt a bit weird knowing that anyone can technically come inside of the property.

Beautiful location great room within easy reach of Ullapool and north to Assynt and beyond

Much better value than local hotels

Pros: Good location, modern decor, very clean, well heated, comfortable bed, provision of usual hotel niceties e.g. tea, coffee, biscuits, shampoo, shower gel etc, easy parking, great view, very responsive owner on-site, great size room

Pros: Very pleasant relaxing place to stay after coming south on the windy one lane roads. Lovely appt, very generous with snacks. Had a fridge, yay! And plates cups, cutlery and a corkscrew/bottle opener. Very clean, warm and comfortable. Great position with a stunning view. Helpful information. Nice bed linen and furniture. Shower not in the bath. 🙂

Cons: Tiny problem with the plug in the bathroom basin.
