What a treat…

Pros: What a beautiful, spacious holiday home. Fully equipped for 6 of us. Perfect to spend new year. Decorated all Christmassy. The kids loved the table tennis in the garage and the garden area.

Cons: All good. Would have loved to stay longer.

A quiet corner of heaven.

Pros: We really liked the house, how it is furnished, the decorations very appropriate. A quiet corner of heaven that gave us very good energy for the entire stay spent in beautiful Scotland.

Cons: Nothing to mention in particular.

Roualeyn is a real gem, everything you need to enjoy a holiday in the countryside.

Pros: The cottage is very well equipped to be a home from home. All was neat, clean and tidy and Gale was on hand to welcome us and ensure we had all we needed. Being on a farm was fascinating to watch all the comings and goings. However, it was remarkably quiet and peaceful in the countryside, just the place to relax and enjoy the local area. The Forbes Arms Hotel is about 3 miles away and does really wonderful food (also a take away service) so that adds to the overall experience of our stay.

Pros: Roualeyn is a gorgeous cottage with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Gale is a super friendly and helpful host. The cottage is so comfortable, the location is lovely and the views are outstanding. I can’t wait to return!

Cons: Nothing - it was perfect!

Idyllic setting and perfect for our needs.

Pros: It was a delightful family home fully equipped and every little thing had been thought of: tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, home produced apple juice, eggs, everything was provided. Gale was extremely friendly and hospitable and we were made to feel like visiting friends rather than mere customers.

Relaxation, comfort and fun

Pros: Our second time here. The house has everything you need for a relaxing, fun holiday. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Great stock of games for indoor and outdoors. Gayle our host does such a great job at welcoming us and showing us around their busy farm (lambing). My little girl left saying she didn’t want to leave and could she take the sheep dog sky and a lamb home to keep. Great countryside views. Perfect for seeing a starry nights sky too as it is very quiet and away from light pollution.
