Short and sweet. But very comfortable and cosy.
Pros: Peaceful and quiet. A true outdoor space with all the equipment you need for an outdoor adventure. Was a quick 1 night pit stop but I’d definitely stay here again.
Cons: Nothing. It’s exactly what it says on the tin. “Off grid cabin” put the phones away and just enjoy the quiet with log burner, solar lights.

Lovely night away!
Pros: My 5 year old son and I had such a fun stay at Hagrid’s Hut, we are both Harry Potter fans and loved all of the details in the hut. The wood burning stove kept the hut nice and cozy. If you are happy to be off grid and become more at one with nature you will love this stay, we certainly did.
Cons: A blind or curtain in the large window would be great but it wasn’t really an issue!

Pros: Extraordinairy little place off the beaten track (quite literally), but considerably more comfortable and cozy than the 'no running water/plumbing' qualifier suggests! Both hut and facilities are kept in prime condition, i.e. on par with any common accomodation, and the Hogwarts theme is tastefully, yet not overly, brought to life. We chose it mainly for its proximity to Inverness passing through, but especially families with (up to two) young children should benefit from the ample playing/discovery/bushcraft spaces in the immediately surrounding woods. Any neighbours are comgortably remote, but communal fireplace, gazebo etc. exist and are close by. Pleasantly surprised and recommended to all who don't mind hand-cranking their lighting.
Cons: Eastward facing window could use a shade/curtain, but early risers should be more than fine :)

A Harry Potter themed experience in eco camping
Pros: The cabin is very private but quite isolated. It is well furnished and comfortable. It reflects the Harry Potter theme throughout, so great for fans. It is well insulated and the log burner would ensure it is warm enough, whatever the weather. The stove top cooker is fine for simple meals and hot water for drinks.
Cons: The solar panel had no charge so the wall lights weren't working. The battery powered lamps provided gave little light. Consider bringing your own. The compostable toilet.

A magical place, in a lovely area, that everyone should experience.
Pros: The location, through a little wood, was quite magical. The provision of wheelbarrows to help you transport your things was great. It is far enough away from the other five cabins to be lovely and secluded. The main hut with beds has been so imaginatively designed and furnished, really quaint and cute but stylish. The little kitchen area in the second hut was very well supplied, basic, but it had all you needed. The compost toilet was perfectly adequate. I had been concerned having never used one but it was actually very pleasant and not a problem to use (even in the middle of the night). We were only there for two nights, so have to confess we didn't try the shower!! The beds were so comfy, the room more than warm enough and the fire very cosy. Absolutely loved the camp fire, although the logs to sit on, whilst really cute, were a bit uncomfortable. Camp chairs might have been a nice luxury!!
Cons: It turned out that our ability to go off grid wasn't as good as we thought. We knew that the provision of a power point to charge phones wasn't 100% reliable, but I am not sure that it functions at all! I couldn't see the solar panel anywhere, and it didn't work the whole time we were there, with very good weather. The provision of little lamps inside and outside was very good though and we were never in danger of not having light, just not able to fully use our phones ( to some people that is a good thing, but I am committed to my phone, especially for the torch, camera and navigating.)
