Very welcoming hosts and a great escape from hectic life 😊

Pros: Cosy wee pods, every thing you need supplied. Very peaceful location, a really escape from the hustle of life.

Cons: Not really a dislike and we were expecting it but the mobile phone reception / 4/5 G was non existent for O2 and Tesco mobile phone services, not sure about other providers! (But a nice escape from technology anyway 😊)

Perfect clean little pod with everything we needed for our overnight stay

Pros: Perfect little pod, just what we needed for our overnight stay while driving route 500. Tucked away off the beaten track. Had everything we needed. The guy was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Lovely breakfast in the fridge which we cooked in the morning before we left, including vegetarian sausages, bacon and black pudding for me and the meat option for my husband. Well set up with fire pit and swing ball which would be great for summer evenings and I’m sure there was more but it was raining while we were there so didn’t fully explore. Comfortable bed and clean en-suite. Even provided dog treats for our dogs.

Relaxing from the start.. gorgeous place to stay

Pros: Amazing host… in fact exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay . The pod is small but incredibly well thought out and has a cosy feel about it . When we woke up after a first night sleep there was frost on the floor but with the blankets and heater on low we didn’t have a clue it was cold out. Breakfast was plentiful and my husband’s really loved the vegetarian black pudding !! The location is stunning , extremely quiet and de peaceful. We made use of the site’s facilities and had the indoor and outdoor camp fires . It had a great camping vibe to the place which appealed to us a lot … fires , hammocks, views and the great outdoors . Thoroughly loved it and will be back ..

Truly fantastic accommodation on NC500

Pros: Beautiful flaming pods in a scenic area. Friendly and welcoming owner. Great supplies for an amazing breakfast. Everything you could wish for.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was awesome.

Pros: Everything, from the location, the host, the accommodation. The host couldn't have done enough to welcome, he even put a Northern Lights show on specifically for the guests that night. Will definitely book again

Cosy and quiet

Pros: It was quiet and cosy, especially during the strong winds and heavy rain. The owner is friendly, helpful and passionate about the local area.

Pros: Very cosy camping pod. Lovely breakfast for us in the morning. Kevin was a great host and imparted lots of local info.

Cons: All good. Very small sink though in the shower area.

A first time for us

Pros: Being our first experience of glamping and not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised at all the amenities available. Kevin was very helpful, greeting us upon arrival, explaining how everything worked, what was available on site, and if there was anything else that we needed (e.g. an extra gas stove in our case) It is in a very peaceful area with some different walks that you can do from the site The old caravan converted into an ‘honesty shop’ is a great idea, in case you haven’t brought enough food with you. There are various items available, including canned soups, and also some items to borrow, e.g. hairdryers. Any profits from this are donated to charity. The breakfast is great and plentiful. It is left in the fridge ready for you to cook yourself in the morning.

Cons: What could be a benefit to some, these are a long way off the beaten track down a narrow road. So you need to make sure you bring food with you, or be prepared for a long drive to eat out.

Pros: Lovely setting, host very friendly and helpful throughout stay! Breakfast had a very generous portion. Honesty shop was also beneficial.

Great value glamping pod.

Pros: Great location with lovely views. Well equipped glamping pod with honesty shop on site - a little different. DIY breakfast was a very good selection of foods. Extremely quiet location with additional walks available from site.

Cons: Nothing really
