Southbank is a Georgian town house in the middle of Elgin and the Whisky Trail. It is a few minutes' walk from the town centre's shops and restaurants. Great option, good value when visiting Elgin

Pros: Great location, close to centre. Freshly cooked breakfast. Spacious room and friendly owner and staff.

Cons: Visited in November and it was cold, could have done with an extra blanket in the room as it was chilly through the night.

Comfortable Guest House

Pros: Lovely old stone house with huge rooms, nicely decorated and very clean. The host, Isobel, was friendly and informative regarding places to eat etc. Nice quiet street, so no road noise,

Cons: The radiator in our room never really warmed up, and the electric shower took ages to provide hot water. Such are the joys of an old building!

Pros: location very central. Staff all very friendly \u0026 helpful. Breakfast was excellent, we even had access to a kitchen which we didn't use but it was good to know the facility was there
